الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء جهة مستقلة الغرض األساسي لها هو القيام بتنظيم ومراقبة الغذاء والدواء واألجهزة والمنتجات

الطبية والتشخيصية، ومن مهامها وضع اللوائح الفنية والمواصفات في مجاالت الغذاء والدواء واألجهزة والمنتجات

أو مصنعة محلياً بواسطة لجان فنية متخصصة، وقد قام قطاع األجهزة والمنتجات الطبية بالهيئة سواًء كانت مستوردة الطبية

األطراف الصناعية وتقويم فريق عمل مواصفات " (SFDA/MDS/TC 168) ضمن برنامج عمل الفريق رقم

أجهزة –وأجهزة تقويم العظام األطراف الصناعية ( "ISO 21064:2017) بتبني المواصـــــــــفة الدولية رقم " العظام

، والتي أصدرتها "المنظمة الدولية للتقييس" وذلك بلغتها "الوصف وتصنيف الوظائف واالستخدامات –تقويم عظام القدم

بلغتها األصلية وقد تم إقرار تبني المواصفة/الالئحة بالتعديلوقد اعتمدت هذه المواصفة كمواصفة سعودية متبناة األصلية.

Foreword

Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) is an independent organization with purpose of regulating

and monitoring of foods, drugs and medical devices. One of SFDA functions is to issue national

Standards /Technical Regulation in the fields of foods, drugs and medical devices, whether imported

or manufactured locally, through specialized technical committees (TCs). SFDA medical devices

sector through the work program of technical committee (SFDA/MDS/TC 168) “Prosthetics and

orthotics” has adopted the International Standard No. (ISO 21064:2017) “Prosthetics and orthotics —

Foot orthotics — Uses, functions classification and description”, issued by “International Organization

for Standardization” in its original language. This standard is adopted with modifications in its original

language and has been approved as a national standard by SFDA CEO decision No (…) on (date).

- The modifications are mentioned in the Modifications Annex.

Scope

This document establishes a method of classifying and describing the devices that are used in the field of foot orthotics. It does not

describe the materials or manufacturing methods used for their fabrication.
