With a gold-leaf ceiling, a Murano-glass chandelier and lagoon-side views, the new Oro restaurant at Venice’s Belmond Hotel Ciprianilives up to its name (Italian for gold). Interior designer Adam D. Tihany lent his celebrated style for the decor and Michelin-starredexecutive chef Davide Bisetto controls the kitchen. Though, we won’t blame you if you’re most impressed with the traditional Venetianwine cellar, Enoteca: La Via Della Sete, which features a 1,000-label collection, that guests pass through on their way in.—Joann Plockova
