“Banksy is here, he wants your help (Shepard Fairy) mid shot of banksy in his studio-low key lighting“Where are you?! (Thierry) ” close up of Thierry in his garden Suggests that Banksy is some sort of hero (Propp character types) and everyone wants to meet him as Thierry goes through a red light and speeds just to get to him shown by the diegetic audio of an exhaust going really fast.

“This guy shows up, looking like something from the 80s with ridiculous side burns” voice over of Banksy when we see Thierry turn up to his warehouse, which suggests that Banksy sees him as a fool/clown straight away.

“I’ll drive you where ever, I’ll do whatever you want” reinforces this idea about Banksy being the hero and Thierry being the helper (Propp)

Over the shoulder shot of Banksy preparing his artwork; Showing that the documentary is about street art and artists and it also emphasises the enigma code of Banksy as we can’t see his face or anything that could identify him suggesting he’s a mysterious person and every thing about him is a mystery.

“I’ve never let anyone film me before, only my hands and from behind but he agreed and that I could take the tapes afterwards” non-diegetic audio of an angel soundThis suggests that Banksy trusts him and reinforces the idea of banksy being like a god through the non-diegetic audio.

“It was magic that this person let me film him” voice over of Thierry as the audience watch Banksy prepare his artwork suggesting that Banksy is a hero (Propp).

Long shot of Thierry helping Banksy with his artwork, which represents Thierry as the helper (Propp). Suggesting Thierry isn’t that significant and he’s just there to help and film. Also has a mysterious upbeat non-diegetic tune creating a sense of caution, as they have to be secretive about doing street art, hence why they’re doing at night showing that’s is a documentary.

“He wanted to go all night long, he was the perfect host, and he also had a long ladder” voice over from Banksy of them putting up street art Shows Banksy funny/ less serious side compared to his seriousness of his first scene on camera.

First time in London with Thierry and he is using his camera to film the streets of London which reinforces the genre of being a documentary due to the shakiness of the handheld camera.

“Banksy’s friends were horrified when they saw this camera happy French guy” voice over of them preparing the telephone sculpture. This suggests that Banksy must of liked Thierry as he allowed him to do stuff and film him which he never done before indicating that Thierry was an unusual character creating an enigma code of why he was so different compared to other filmers.
