Dear student,

This is a list of suggested topics to study for the fifth bimonthly exam, all the topics were seen as preparation to take the FCE certification exam.

Word formation prefixes and suffixes. Key sentence transformation strategies. Gapped text strategies (word class)

Reading strategies: skim and scan. Underline key words on answers and questions.

Listening: making notes while listening, and underlining key words. Speaking: strategies to perform well individually, in a conversation, and to get to an

agreement.

Writing: an email / letter, a story, an article, a report .

As a piece of advice, practice in your supplementary material provided by the teacher, or doing

online exercises to identify which parts are causing trouble in order to tackle them together before

the exam.
