She enjoys teaching health and wellbeing Numeracy and Maths All children will be challenged at a pace appropriate to their learning. The children will be developing skills in: Addition and subtraction to 10, 20, 100 or 1000 Place value to 100 or 1000. Estimating and rounding numbers within 10, 20 100 or 1000 Interdisciplinary Topic Children will be learning about Transport and how it has changed over the years. They will further develop their skills in: Working with others Understanding Evaluating Homework (if applicable) Sound / Word Tins- Every night Phonics - Tuesday Reading- Every night Literacy All children will be challenged at a pace appropriate to their learning. Children will be developing skills in: phonics and spelling, using a variety of active spelling strategies to enhance learning handwriting reading, through books corresponding to their book band and by exploring a variety of texts using different reading Learning Across the Curriculum Science Children will be learning about living and non-living things. They will be investigating food chains and how animals and plants depend on each other. RME Children will be developing their analysing skills whilst learning Health and Wellbeing Both indoor and outdoor P.E lessons will take place on Monday afternoons and all children are encouraged to bring their gym kit for each session. They will be learning about ball skills and team games. We will be continuing the daily mile and would encourage parents to ensure their children have suitable clothing for this i.e. waterproof jacket. Children will be learning about

keeping our minds and bodies healthy.
