3. ACTIVITY BASED LEARNING ( CYBER CRIME ) :
Collectinformation on Meaning of Cyber crime , Different types of Cyber crimes and
Precautionswhich should be taken by us . Represent this information on a chart paper.
Prepare a questionnaire to conduct survey and include 10 to 12 people to find out about the
awareness level of people with regard to cyber crime.
Use colored A4 size sheet to make a table to show what percentage of people are fully aware
, partially aware or completely unaware. Represent these findings on a pie chart.

Solve 5 Questions everyday from Ch- 1 , 2 in the Mental Maths Book.

All the groups (having not more than 5 members) have been given one sub-theme and
have to work on that theme. The detail information regarding subthemes has been
uploaded in science homework section on amitranet.The group can either go for
innovation in their project or do a research/survey based project.
Collect information and material on the topic given. Each group has to prepare:
a) Model-A model (of dimension approximately 30cm X 60 cm) is to be prepared on
the above given topic using as much of waste material as possible (avoid the use ofthermocol and use only eco-friendly material). The model should be a representation of

the students project and should be used as a means to explain the project with proper
placards explaining the main concepts of the model.
b) 2 charts (on A3 size paper)-Chart is to be prepared to explain the model/working
model/experiment/project undertaken. The matter written on the chart should be self-
explanatory, visible in a legible handwriting with proper illustrations.
c) File : The File should have a Cover page , Abstract, Introduction, Aims and
objectives of the study, Hypothesis,Need statement, Work plan , Methodology ,
Observations , Data analysis and interpretation, Results ,Conclusions ,Solution to the
problem , Future plan, acknowledgement and References.
d) Log book - Log book to be maintained, having details of all the meetings taking
place among the group members (date, time, venue, number of members present, work
planned and accomplished)
e) Survey(minimum 150-200 questionnaires to be filled and the group specified whose
survey has been carried out along with a compilation of the result of survey in the form
of pie chart or bar graph)/ research work with proper mention of theurl of
site/book/journal from where the material has been taken from.
Projects dealing with innovation will be appreciated as well as those with an attempt to
find a solution to any ongoing problem. The model and chart will be assessed on the
basis of creativity, layout, illustrations, answering the questions about the concept
involved, designing, validity of the model to topic assigned, visual representation,putting the ideastogether, explaining the concept to make it a team effort and research
work put into their making. Each child would be assessed based on the criteria
mentioned above, work done by them and would be graded accordingly.The
submission date is 5.7.16(after the summer break).

Each year, we endeavor to create a summer assignment that is not only educative, creative and interesting,but is also enriching with regard to glorious history and rich heritage of our country, so that it inculcates inour children, a spirit of consciousness for our culture and heritage .
Activity
In order to have a closer look at the heritage and diverse nature of some of the states of India the followingactivities have been planned.
1) Heritage State Bihar
