    In In this Customizing activity, you determine the wage type that is used to save the compensationpayment amount for a particular type of occupational hazard. During the payroll calculation, the systemreads the wage type to make the payment to employees.

    In this Customizing activity, you use the feature QALEG to determine the legal compensation amount foremployees injured by occupational hazards.

    You set the compensation amount as the return value. By doing so, during the payroll calculation, thesystem reads this feature to determine the compensation amount and makes the correspondingpayment to employees.

    3.2.3 Determine Rule Group for Refinement of Absences

    The feature is used in Payroll to refine absences for valuation or for Statistical purposes.

    The return value of the feature is the date for the production startup in the format YYYYMMDD.

    In this activity you determine per rule group for the refinement of absences which individual rules forthe relevant employees should lead to a refinement of absence evaluation.

    You can define the individual rules depending on seniority or age. You store the meanings of theindividual rules in the SAP enhancement HRPTIMAB or they are in the country-specific function module

    HR_COV_DETERMINE_MARK_xx.

    It is recorded here which content should lead to an absence being recorded and what this marker shouldlook like.
