Kivlehan (1x4, R, HR, RBI), SS Ketel Marte (1x4, R, SB), 2B Chris Taylor  (1x4, RBI) and 3B Tyler Smith  (1x3, R, 2B) each collected 1 of the Rainiers 4 hits. Starter Donn Roach (6.2,3,1,1,3,4) allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 6.2 innings, but did not factor into the decision. REHAB ASSIGNMENT: SS Ketel Marte was placed on a rehab assignment with AAA Tacoma on May 31. He is Jackson’s first player of the month since Nick Franklin in 2012. O’Neill hit safely in 24 of 28 games with 9 multcontests during May, batting .349 (38x109) with 17 runs scored, 13 doubles, 1 triple, 4 home runs, 25 RBI, 1 HBP, 11 walks and 3 stobases. During May, O’Neill led the Southern League in hits (38), extra-base hits (18), RBI (25) and total bases (65), while also ranking T1s2B (13), 3rd in average (.349), 5th in OPS (1.003) and slugging percentage (.596) and 10th in on-base percentage (.407).
