• PESTLE (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal and Environmental) analysis
• Summary– India is a stable democracy but terrorism and relationships
with its neighbours continues to be a problem.– The economy continues to grow but inflation and
strengthening of the Indian rupee may hamper prospects.– Despite there being a large working population lot of work
needs to be done with regard to social development.– R&D expenditure must be increased to augment the strong
knowledge base.– Concerns still remain even though a broad legal and
regulatory framework exists.– Environment laws exist but implementation is lax.
