This room symbolizes the colorful Indian country of the

Southwest where turquoise is both a sacred tahsman

and a symbol of wealth and authority. The Turquoise

Room is a part of the Pleasure Dome Lounge Car and

has been planned as an intimate private dining room

serving a group of 6 to 10 persons en route aboard the

Super Chief between Chicago and Los Angeles.
