Chairmans Note
th As the India Rubber Expo gears up for its 10successful edition, we are elated to state that the Indian Rubber Industry is poised for the next big leap not just in terms of technology and innovation but also with respect to the rising opportunities in local as well as global markets. Call it a revolution in the making or the beginning of an epic journey, IRE 2019 is all set to take centre stage and drive the industry forces together towards one unified goal- Outperformance.
The move has gained further momentum with India stepping-up its status as the world's fastest growing economy and several pro-industry initiatives and policies supported by the Government of India. With rubber successfully making inroads into new industry segments and consolidating its position in the already established ones, the future looks undoubtedly promising and bright for traders, exporters, investors, stakeholders and the industry at large.
Keeping up with our tradition, IRE 2019 is slated to be the biggest and the most relevant exhibition for the Indian Rubber Industry in terms of global reach
as well as participation of industry influencers. This year too, we will focus more on increasing exhibitor participations by providing a credible platform for the finest minds in the industry and a visibly bigger global reach clubbed with industry relevant value additions.
Thanks to the sincere efforts of Mr. Vishnu Bhimrajka, our Chief Convener and his dynamic team who have left no stone unturned to make this iconic event a bigger success than its predecessor. IRE 2019 is now poised to leave its mark as the most influential event for the Indian Rubber Industry and an enabler of progress for all its stakeholders including rubber manufacturers, end OE customers, suppliers, technical experts, government, educational bodies and institutes. I invite and encourage all stakeholders of the rubber industry to make the most of this iconic platform and drive the change we all want to see tomorrow.
Let's Grow Bigger, Together!
Chief Conveners Note
With the Indian Economy showing a marked increase in GDP and encouraging growth prospects, the world is looking forward to India as the biggest hotbed of business opportunities. India is poised to double its growth and become a $5 Trillion economy by 2024. The Indian Government is going all out to make the most of this phenomenon by encouraging FDIs, rapidly building business-friendly infrastructure and fuelling growth prospects across SMEs. With strategically planned initiatives like Stand Up India, Skill India and Make in India gaining prominence and global acceptance, the atmosphere is electric and the future seems to be more rewarding than ever before. Since inception, India Rubber Expo has vested all its interests in taking the Indian Rubber Industry to the world. Rubber products today are playing an important role in industries like Real Estate, Automobiles, Defence, Wires and Cables, Railways, Metro, Bullet Train, Infrastructure, Aerospace and many more. The global synthetic rubber market is projected to reach 21.2 million metric tons* by 2024. Being from the rubber fraternity, we understand
the industry inside out and continuously work towards its betterment by aligning ourselves with government bodies and policy makers, bringing industry greats on a common podium and widening the scope of rubber applications across industries locally and globally. India Rubber EXPO 2019 will definitely be an iconic event for the Rubber industry; as continuous efforts are on to make it big in terms of scale, reach and industry relevance. It will bring together the finest minds in the industry, policy makers, SMEs, Buyers, Sellers and Global Giants and pave the way for a mutually beneficial future. Conceived by AIRIA, INDIA RUBBER EXPO is now in its 10th successful edition and continues to be a landmark event for every stakeholder of the rubber industry. After successful editions in Delhi and Chennai in 2015 and 2017 respectively, IRE 2019 will now be hosted in Mumbai the financial capital of India and the city of unlimited opportunities. Get ready to explore new business turfs, widen perspectives, access long-term growth and prosper like a pro through our strategically planned Conferences, Workshops and a Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet.
