Loyalty and courage - Black Knights 1-5 CAV Mission 1-5 CAV conducts the LVC-IA GAT and FUA at FHTX during the 4th QTR FY 12 IOT test, validate, and provide feedback on LVC-IA, while conducting training in preparation for major combat systems gunnery. Commander’s Intent Purpose: Conduct realistic training that supports the 1-5 CAV campaign plan while conducting Live, Virtual and Constructive Integrated Architecture (LVC-IA) GAT and FUA IOT allow the US Army to complete the procurement of the necessary systems. Key Tasks: - “3 C’s” with PEO-STRI and FT Hood Civilians/Contractors - Incorporate the CAV Big 8 - Capitalize on the exercise to enhance CO and below training - Certify TOC operations

1-5 CAV conducts the LVC-IA GAT and FUA at FHTX during the 4th QTR FY 12 IOT test, validate, and provide feedback on LVC-IA, while conducting training in preparation for major combat systems gunnery.

maintains personnel (95% deployable) , equipment

(90% readiness), and systems FMC.

Functionally fit, mentally tough Soldiers ready to succeed in

austere and demanding conditions. These Soldiers are

past of supportive families, who are part of a BK team

which understands and embraces the challenges of

duty to the ideals of our nation.

REDEPLOYMENT RESET

In preparation for collective training all crews are Q1,

infantry teams are certified through day and night LFXs,

the BN C4ISR FOC, and platoons are postured for collective level training.

Leaders who are adaptable, critical thinkers and developed

professionals; empowered, competent, and driven. These

leaders are committed to excellence as characterized by

their support of the unit, peers, subordinates, and

institutional values.

KEY TASKS:-Container pack, seal, and inspection-Equipment reconciliation and turn-in-Completion of medical screenings and briefs (PDHA/DCS)-RIT/RSRP-Footprint establishment-Establish training and operational calendar-Account establishment-Rear Detachment reconciliation of equipment and PAX

-UME transfer complete-Personnel (Eligible Rear D personnel to respective company. )
