Innovation and Results Innovation and Results
• Heterogeneous Inter-networking Architectures for Emergency Services– i.e. TETRA – WiMAX inter working with SIP and VoIP
(deployable prototype)– adaptive network control and management
• Wireless Sensor Networks– Provide emergency entities access to sensor in other
networks (i.e. to video cameras in a highway surveillance system),
– Integration of Wireless Sensor networks for critical scenarios monitoring (highway during construction), access to the sensors via heterogeneous networks.
– Easy configuration – ad-hoc networks– A demonstrator will show this service in Luxembourg

Innovation and Innovation and Results Results contd.contd.
• Workforce management for emergency services– exchanging information with external applications– interoperability over heterogeneous networks– deployable prototype
• Prototype infrastructure including service providers and users for performance tests and a quantitative evaluation of the results.
