1. Name of the Department:- Printing Technology 2. Year of Establishment:- 2014 3. History of the Department: - B.Voc. degree programme is the unique academic programme started in 2014 affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon under NSQF of UGC’s XII plan. It is comprising of General Education and Vocational Skills. Hence emphasis is given to develop students with multifaceted personalities having intertwining competence in the field of Printing Technology. B.Voc. in Printing technology course is planned keeping in mind the requirements and job profiles required at industry level , Executive employment, Entrepreneurship, Professional career in the field of printing sectors. Department of Printing Technology was established in 2014 in M.J.College. Moolji Jaitha College is the first college in North Maharashtra region to begin with B. Voc. in Printing Technology, a three years degree program under science faculty. The Department was started with a single course at UG to provide skilled man power to the field of printing sector. The present course is highly effective and will help to fulfill the employment needs in printing industries. This will make students perfect in all skills of print media and entrepreneurship. So far, only a single batch has completed their B. Voc. from this department. In the year 2016-17. 4. 1 Activities Taken Up:

A) Industrial Visit

1. One day Industrial visit was organized to Reliance Production House ,Pune,on 3rd Feb.2015 .

2. Three days academic visit was organized from 10th Dec. to 12 th Dec.2015 for the students of

B.Voc in Printing Technology to attend International Exhibition named as PAMEX-2015

,Mumbai. There students have visited to different companies like GRAFICA,ONLOOKAR

PRESS,MONOTECH,PRINT-O-Graph Machinery, SAILI Machinery co,Zheijiang, MANSION

PACKAGING TEC.LTD.HONG KONG,ZEB GROUP Delhi etc.

3. Faculty Development Program was jointly organized by Spark Institute of Multimedia and

Printing Technology and M.J. College .

4. Study Tour was organized for the students of B.Voc in Printing Technology three years degree

course on 8th Jan 2015 to Lokmat Printing Unit ,Jalgaon

and Maruti Press Pvt Ltd,Jalgaon.

5. Study Tour was organized for B.Voc in Printing Technology students of 1st and 2nd year on 13th

Jan. 2016, to Anand Publication.Jalgaon.
