The Best NSS Friendly Principal

42

And…

43

Our Programme Officer Sri. Renji Mathew was selected

The Best NSS Programme Officer

of the University

44

45

Our Strength

•More than physical work, we aim at the personality development of the students.

•A good number of Ready to Work volunteers on call.

•We are able to create a group of young men socially active.

•We help the poor and needy especially in time of

blood requirements.

•Inter department friendship of students fostered.

•Volunteers get more exposure through Inter- Collegiate, State level and National level camps.

46

However….• We are not able to bring all the enrolled volunteers to all the programmes and get Certificates to all.

• Normally students of economically and educationally weak background become active in the programmes.

•The allotted fund for NSS activity is not sufficient.

• Not able to associate with agencies like CHASS.

• No tangible achievements like house, library etc.

• Only one Programme Officer could attend the Orientation

Course at TOC, RCSS.

• The Advisory meetings are not seriously conducted.

• Female volunteers are few in number, hence they could not be accommodated in the special camping programmes.

47

Road Map

• Help maximum students achieve all

the objectives of NSS• Make SB NSS the Best in the State• Organize a National Integration Camp

in the Navathy Year• Make tangible assets like house or library• Form ‘life clubs’ along important roads to

help the victims of road accidents
