St Thomas More - Pupil Outcomes• 73% of pupils make good levels of progress in Foundation Stage – 7% above

the National Average

• 95% of pupils in Year 1 achieved the requirements of the Phonics Screening Check – 18% above the National Average

• In KS1 (end of Year 2) outcomes for Reading, Writing and Mathematics all exceeded pupils nationally at L2B+ (average performance)

• In KS2 outcomes for pupils in Reading and Writing were broadly in line with national averages. Results in Writing suggest that there is work to do.

• % of pupils achieving higher levels of performance were significantly below other schools nationally

• Attendance is high and above national averages
