PanamicaFebruary 2011
PANAMICAHello world...!!!
Here comes the first edition your wall magazine-2011.
It didnt take me any long to come up with this name PANAMICA.
It is the name of a low stingless nettle of Central and South America havingvelvety brownish-green toothed leaves and clusters of small green flowers.
Botanically named as Pilea involucrata,it is better known as the FriendshipPlant... As the days pass easy and the moments pass slow, may each road thatyou choose leads you all to your desired destination.
Let us all come together to utilize this platform to express the vision we have. The prose, the verse, the paint, the sketch, the information, the comments, thesuggestions, all your modes of expression... everything is invited here in print.
For the audio and video modes, please refer to the facebook wall of HYBRIDHUES-2011.
You can mail your work to me on [email protected] or simply submityour writings to either me at 10/33 or to any of the fellows enlisted below. Incase you find our rooms locked, just slip your papers in. Well always make surethat each and every effort is well appreciated.
Thanking you

over you whhle watch
hng the movie. The firstofhusbandNeilNitin Mu

also acted very well andhis murder is, to say, most cruel andthereforeinteresting... unlike other movies, the songs also connect well withthecircumstances and create a Halloween like feeling...
Usha utthaps role as maggi aunty is also very brilliant. Ruskin bonds guestappearance is veryheart warming as he is one of my favourite writers...
Totop it allVivaan Shah, son ofNasserudin Shah c aptivates the mindoftheaudience withhis casual n humour filled voice... notto mention... Konkana Sen
Sharma has also playedher role very well.....
Thumps up for Priyanka Chopra andVishal Bharadwaj.

As youll see on the next page, I am initiating a serial fiction named as Margret.
Ill be presenting its sequel in the subsequent editions ofthe wall mag. Though
Ive come up with a plot but seriously I dont know how the story will develop
over the time as the tides of my imagination just go so random. Your ideas are
more than welcome tohave some twist in this seemingly boring story. Stay in
touch...!!! Creative writing like this or anyother ofyour short stories, poems, articles and everything else is always invited.
Thanks a lot for reading...

MARGRET...the beginning of an end
Never did I know that chocolates could be so bitter thathaving them in my mouth
willleave me with an endless cycle ofloss and regret, loss and regret. That aroma
smelledof a sublime sunshine which belongedtothe oldtown ofKnolls Wood. Ilivedthere with my family. We were not many and surely not even the happiest. I
spent mylife with mylittle daughter. I didhave a husband. Very inspiring, caring
andloving...butjust not mine.
Myhome was surely a lovely place to be in. The day I got marriedto Richard, he
brought me to a place whichhe called our little heaven. As my eyes were
undrapedof a blindfoldof red satin and a fragrant breeze touched my face, I still
remember him whispering into my ears, Margret, this is who we are andthis is
what we will be. And so we namedour home, The Sanctum. The woods around
cocoonedus and inside the boundaryof a hedge of box and a four feethigh irongate, I chained my identity in the strings of prosperity and marital bliss....
He welcomed me intothathouse holding mylefthand andon the other side I held
a beautiful bouquetof roses which were carefully picked and pruned byhim tothe
levelofutmost perfection. On myheadthere was a tiara made of white petals and
a veil made of fine fabric. My wedding gown was so radiant and its trails were
sweeping the grounds. I entered The Sanctum being held byhis strong arms and
my very first memories ofthathouse were noless than caramel andhoney. The
room inside was lit by candles adoring a beautifultable settohostour first meal in
the house. Richard raised a toastto celebrate our union after allthat struggle and
we relishedthe moment withour favourite flavour, the dark chocolate. Richard
usedtolaughover my expressions while I usedto concentrate over the ecstasyof
melting chocolate in my mouth. The feeling of completeness I felt...
The flavour ofthat chocolate melting in my mouth still reminds me of Richard.
They still remind me ofhis grey eyes staring at some infinity still knowing about
each and every crinkle on my face, and every strandofhair falling on it... Richard
loved me. I lovedhim and I loved chocolates too. The zeal inside me to put down
every feeling on paper in form of some informal verse was always complementedbythat constanttaste prevailing in my mouth. I reallyhave a long storyto be put
down to words... A life fulloflosses. A life fullof regrets...
