Dear Undies Wondies,

What an amazing company we have. Scott and I just returned from the 50th anniversary trip to China and what an amazing and fun time we both had (See pictures enclosed!) We first went to Shanghai with about 25 other Nationals to explore one of the most beautiful cities we have ever been in. All the buildings are 20 years old or less and tons more going up each day, it is built on water. So if you can imagine the most modern buildings lit up with all kinds of lights, and water canals running throughout the city. It is breathtaking. We had the opportunity to take a boat cruise at night to experience the city lit up - it was more spectacular than any Las Vegas show we have ever seen. Then on to Beijing to join the other NSD's, we visited the forbidden city, had foot reflexology, visited the Hutong residential area and had a rickshaw ride and climbed the great wall of china - one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Then the top Directors joined us for our 50th anniversary dinner party that was held at the Great Hall of the People. The entertainment was the best we have ever seen, dancers, music that would take your breath away, then back to the Grand Ballroom at the Grand Hyatt for the After party with desserts and dancing. The entire 10 days were magical, something you would read about but few ever get to experience it.

It was nice to return to the good old USA where people speak English and eat normal food. Let me tell you, Chinese food is nothing like the Chinese food we eat here in the US, it is very different. Very strange meats and vegetable, sticky white rice, chopsticks, and fruit for dessert. They eat no bread or desserts, and of course tea with each meal (never coffee) As much fun as it was to experience their lifestyle for 10 days, nothing looked better when we hit the Chicago airport than a big juicy burger at Chili's.

I can't wait for you to experience these amazing trips that the company provides. It isn't for the chosen few but the few who choose to treat their business like a business and work with consistency.

The company issued us a challenge while we were in China. To double the amount of Directors we have in North America. That means for our National Area to add 47 Directors this year. When you have an offspring Director you and your new Director will have your name on a brick in the MK corpo-rate building "The Great Wall of Mary Kay". Representing this amazing time in our company when we have massive growth in leadership. Take on the challenge, build leaders this year, or if you are a con-sultant make this YOUR year to step up into the Leadership role and become a MK Sales Director and put your name on the “Great Wall of Mary Kay”.
