    The rack and pinion design ofPowerRac Actuators provideshigh-operating torque for accuratecontrol in modulating services,and high opening torque for on/offservices. The unique square colletcoupling rigidly clamps the drivepinion to the valve shaft, eliminatingbacklash in the drive connection.This rigid connection allows thrustfrom the cylinder to preciselyposition the valve.     M-Series Actuators

    M-Series Actuators are designedfor use on smaller DeZURIKAWWA Butterfly Valves. The M-Series Actuator meets therequirements of AWWA C504standards. The fully enclosedscotch yoke mechanism allowsthe M-Series Actuator to provide a torque curve that matches thetorque requirements of the valve.The thread system of the travelingnut is self-locking, maintainingdisc position under varying flowconditions.

    LA-Series Actuators

    LA-Series Actuators are designedfor use on large DeZURIK AWWAButterfly Valves. The LA-SeriesActuator meets the requirementsof AWWA C504 standards. Thelink-arm mechanism allows theLA-Series Actuator to providecharacterized closure that slowsvalve travel and increases torqueas the disc comes into the seat.The actuators feature high com-pressive strength yoke nut bearingsthat ensure reliable operation andincreased cycle life. The actuatoris self-locking, maintaining valveposition under varying flow conditions.

    Linear DiaphragmActuators

    Type 01 and 05 pneumatic actua-tors are specifically designed forDeZURIK linear control valves.These spring and diaphragm styleactuators feature rugged castiron/steel construction. Type 01actuators are designed for heavy-duty globe valves and have strokesizes up to 4" (200mm). The 05actuator is a low cost actuator of aluminum construction withstrokes up to 11/2" (40mm) for light,medium and smaller heavy-dutyvalve applications.
