Objective

The International Conference on Quality, Reliability, Infocom Technology and Business

Operations is the leading international platform to disseminate information on most

recent and relevant advancement in research, theories and practices in the areas, not

restricted to, quality, reliability, Infocom technology and business operations. This

conference has always been hosted by Department of Operational Research, University

of Delhi along with Society for Reliability Engineering Quality and Operations

Management (SREQOM) in collaboration with Lulea University of Technology,

Sweden and has been attended by around 500 participants from over 15 countries each

time.

This theme on “Quality, Reliability, Infocom Technology and Business Operations”

aims at linking researcher’s and practitioner’s from different branches of industrial

engineering and management from around the world. This theme has been widely

recognized and is most appropriate in the present and upcoming times. The sustainable

development and continuous improvement as a result of technological applications and

organizational innovation (i.e. products/services, and process management) with

emphasis on Quality, Reliability and Infocom Technology will be the focal point.

This conference also focuses on interdisciplinary research to contribute, on both

theoretical and practical levels, to analyse the potential of multidimensional relations

and interactions of Education, Research and Technology with economy and society. One

of the major areas of emphasis in academia in recent years has been interdisciplinary

research, a trend that promises new insights and innovations rooted in cross-disciplinary

collaboration.

The Conference will not only take stock of trends and developments at the turn of the

millennium, but will also provide future directions. Besides, it will help in sharing of

experience and exchange of ideas, which will foster National/International

collaboration.

The past ICQRIT conferences were held in the year 2000, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012,

2015, 2017 and 2018 and this conference is 10th in its version. It’s being held since 2000

at INSA/Delhi University. Proceedings of these conferences have been published by

Springer, Narosa, and Macmillan etc. The conference has earned name for itself in India

and abroad creating a network which has fostered research collaborations.


Call for papers

Authors interested in presenting research papers of theoretical/applied nature or case studies are invited

to submit an Abstract not exceeding 250 words latest by April 15, 2019. The abstract should include

keywords/phrases, full address along with the broad conference topic. The topic of the paper should be

Proposal for invited sessions are solicited in the areas mentioned but not limited in Call for Papers

section. Each invited session can have 5-6 papers and the proposal should be submitted by May 15,

2019.

Conference proceedings

The refereed proceedings of the conference will be brought out after the conference. Registered

delegates will be entitled for a copy of the proceedings. Full paper in IEEE format is to be submitted

by May 15, 2019. Accepted papers are eligible for publication in the Conference Proceedings

published by Springer, subject to rigorous review & page limitations. Some selected papers will be

published in special issues of International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management

(IJSAEM) published by Springer.

REGISTRATION FEES

The registration fee includes Conference kit, lunches, tea/coffee and conference dinner. The

registration fee is to be made by account payee demand draft in favour of “ICQRIT2019” and made

payable at Kathmandu (Nepal). Online transfer facility is available.

Delegates accompanied by their spouses shall pay an additional amount of US$250 only in addition to

their registration fee. The spouses will be entitled to all conference facilities except conference kit. For

SAARC delegates this amount is IR.5000 and for Nepalese delegates NR 5000.

US$50, IR. 2,000 and NR 2,000 may be added to the registration fee as late fee, if it is paid after May

15, 2019, for foreign, SAARC delegates and Nepalese delegates respectively. Individual letters of

invitation, which can be useful for obtaining grants, will be sent on request.
