Mission Statement

10-Minute Fitness is dedicated to sharing the vast benefits of whole body

vibration with the world; offering a convenient, fun and highly effective solution

to the fitness and wellness needs of our customers. We are making a positive

difference in fitness culture through the modality of whole body vibration.

We are committed to creating a strong and dynamic opportunity for our

franchisees, each of our trainers and the employees throughout our system.

10-Minute Fitness will continue to provide the highest-quality products and

newest innovations in our industry.

company History

We were founded in 2010 as the first whole body vibration studio franchise

system in the United States. Our first model studio, located in downtown

Houston, TX was an immediate success as we introduced the public to a new

way to reach their fitness and wellness goals in just a 10-minute workout! Our

second Houston location opened in early 2011 and several more are now

under construction as we expand nationwide!

Our Studios

Each 10-Minute Fitness studio is equipped with the latest technology in

whole body vibration. We focus on oscillating vibration machines, which offer

the highest value and broadest range of benefits. Our certified WBV (Whole

Body Vibration) trainers are on hand at all times to introduce new customers

to what we are all about and to offer guidance and advice to our members.

We also show our customers how to maximize their use of our machines

and the other great features of 10-Minute Fitness. Most studios are equipped

with infrared saunas and all studios offer a complete line of 10-Minute Fitness

WBV accessories and home spa products. Our locations function not only as

studios offering pay-per-use and unlimited-use membership options but also

as showrooms where customers may purchase equipment for home use.

vibration. Through major advances in the design and development of new

equipment, we are consistently expanding the boundaries of how whole

body vibration can be applied to broaden the wide range of benefits we offer

10-Minute Fitness is a health and wellness studio, bringing you whole body

vibration exercise technology, which provides a wealth of extraordinary

benefits. This is accomplished by using low impact rapid acceleration/

deceleration training all in just 10-minutes.

Research by NASA and other institutions have demonstrated that training

with a vibration machine can build strength, muscle tone and bone density,

as well as improve flexibility, circulation and metabolism. Consequently, it has

been found to create a positive effect on a variety of physical conditions, from

obesity and diabetes to osteoporosis and chronic pain, and much more. It is

our belief at “10-Minute Fitness” that if you do nothing else for your health,

you should at least use vibration training!

Our Process

The following steps are a guide to help you successfully navigate the path to

becoming a 10-Minute Fitness franchisee.

Step 1: Financial Assessment

As a franchise applicant you will be required to demonstrate a minimum level

of ready capital assets, not only to fund the purchase of the franchise and

all the costs related to opening a studio, but also to support all of your other

financial obligations until your new business is established and profitable.

Keep in mind - this may take some time. Asset requirements vary widely,

depending on location and market you wish to purchase. The requirements

for a 10-Minute Fitness franchise range from $150,000 to $300,000, with

a realistic average of $225,000 required for a turn-key start up and initial

operating capital.

Step 2: Become familiar with 10-Minute Fitness

Educate yourself not only on the quality of the investment opportunity

that becoming a 10-Minute Fitness franchisee has to offer but also on

the operational requirements and time demands of building and running

a successful studio. Gain an understanding of our franchise support

systems, corporate structure, philosophy, and feel free to speak with existing

franchisees to ask about their experiences. Thoroughly review our Franchise

Disclosure Documents and all its Exhibits. Take the information you collect

and seek the council of a qualified professional business advisor and ask their

opinion on whether owning a 10-Minute Fitness franchise appears to be a

sound investment opportunity. Such due diligence will help you to gain a clear

and comprehensive perspective on the project you’re seeking to undertake.

To provide you with as much information as possible, 10-Minute Fitness hosts

Discovery Day at our headquarters in Houston, TX. All franchise applicants are

invited to spend time in our studios and meet our leadership team, ask any

questions, meet personnel you’ll be working with and learn more about our

systems and products. You’ll get an inside look at our business model, our

marketing techniques and the support services we offer to all our franchisees.

Step 3: Draft a Business Plan

A prudent initial step in launching a new business is to develop a business

plan. 10-Minute Fitness can provide much of the information necessary to

draft a business plan throughout the research and discovery process with

our company. A comprehensive business plan should include: a complete

analysis of the opportunity and its practical application to the intended market,

a description of all logistical and capital requirements necessary to launch the

business, a detailed marketing analysis and description of market conditions

related to relevant competitors, and projected profit & loss and cash flow

projections for years one, two, and three of its operation.

Creating a business plan serves several functions. First of all, it requires

that you take a critical and realistic look at our business. This process often

uncovers aspects of the industry you may not have been aware of, which can

help you plan for contingencies in the future. Second, it will help you organize

and solidify your operational strategies. Additionally, if you hope to obtain

financing for your new business, lenders require a comprehensive business

plan.

Step 4: Hire an Attorney

You are highly recommended to hire a business attorney to consult with

throughout the process of purchasing a franchise and organizing your

business start-up. An attorney who specializes in franchising is ideal. If you

need help finding one, contact your state bar association or the American

Bar Association; both entities have resources to help you locate an attorney

in your area that specializes in franchise purchases. Your attorney can be

instrumental in helping you review Franchise Disclosure Documents and

understanding the many franchisor and governmental stipulations you will be

expected to comply with.

Step 5: Becoming a Franchisee

One you’ve completed steps 1 thru 4 you should be well informed and

thoroughly prepared to move forward in signing our Franchise Agreement.

The Franchise Agreement defines in detail the relationship you will have with

10-Minute Fitness Franchise & Branding as a 10-Minute Fitness franchisee.

As with all legal contracts, make sure you’ve made a complete review,

sought adequate council, and have a complete understand of the Franchise

Agreement and its provisions before signing it.

or infrared saunas, but 10-Minute Fitness may receive money from the manufacturers of these items. Gross

Revenues do not include sales tax or any other taxes you collect from customers for payment to the appropriate tax authorities
