• Then: You had to physically go to their house to find out if the are at home or not?

• Now: A text is more than enough

Gaming Zone• Then: Plug in

videogame on TV & playing all day sitting in front of the TV & collecting cassettes

• Now: Plug in the Xbox, PS

To see a latest movie• Then: We either took a

trip to the theatre or waited even longer for it to come on Cable channel or on movie channels

• Now :Dude. Let’s download it

Chocolates

• Then: We had candies like Popins, Kismi Bar, etc.

• Now: Todays kids are mad over Kinder Joy

Cartoons

• Then: We had wonderful cartoons like CatDog , Recess, Popeye etc.

• Now: Oggy and The Cockroaches, Chhota Bheem, etc. are todays animations

Imported Chocolates• Then: We’d wait for

our NRI relatives to plan a trip, than we could taste some of that awesome chocolate. Just keep waiting

• Now: The corner store. Yep. The world's gotten a whole lot smaller

Punishments• Then: You are

grounded, now stay in your room

• Now: No computer. Wait, no phone either. And drop that tablet. And that laptop. And stay away from TV
