  • BENEFITING OUR ACCLAIMED YOUTH PROGRAM

Since 1999, the tournament has raised more than$1.78 million dollars for Project Success

100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. launched Project Success 30 years ago and has helped thousands of Atlanta Public School students graduate from high school and complete their post-secondary education with tuition assistance for students maintaining a 2.5 minimum grade point average. Project Success is distinguished by the one-on-one mentorship provided the 100 Black Men of Atlanta members who dedicate their time, talent and resources to developing a new generation of community leaders. The Program’s success is reflected in our numbers, all of which significantly over-index the national averages:

    • 100% of Project Success students graduate from high school

    • 98% of Project Success Students attend a post-secondary institution

    • 80% of Project Success students graduate from college in four years

Over the years 100 Black Men of Atlanta has expanded its flagship Project Success program to include the 100 Robotics Alliance and the Leadership Development Academy at The B.E.S.T. Academy public school.

The 100 Robotics Alliance exposes students to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines and helps them develop real-world skill sets such as project management, computer programming, data analysis, team management and performing under the pressure of competition.

    • The 100 Robotics Alliance teams have competed and won at the city, regional and national levels

    • The 100 Robotics Alliance has seeded teams in underserved communities across Georgia thereby______introducing over 5,000 students to high-level STEM

At Atlanta’s public, all-male school, B.E.S.T. Academy, the 100 Black Men of Atlanta has implemented an on-site leadership program to shape students into well-rounded young men who are prepared to meet the demands of an ever-changing global society.

    • Participants in the 100’s leadership program went on to become B.E.S.T high school valedictorians for the______last three consecutive years and all were named Gates Millennium Scholars

    • Atlanta Public Schools named the 100 Black Men of Atlanta its Partner of the Year in the Coretta Scott King/______B.E.S.T. cluster
