DESCRIPTION

Lifestyle Magazines are the premiere publications in Weston, Parkland, Coral Springs, Las Olas and Estate homes (covering West Davie, Southwest Ranches, Hawks Landing and Plantation Acres) and are often referred to as the “Ocean Drive’ or “Town and Country Magazine” for these cities. The magazines cater to the high end luxury product lines and services reaching an affluent audience and readers, who have the ability to buy most anything. The magazine’s editorial content features the “who’s who” and those people having the most impact on the community, along with covering the social scene, galas and events where many of those same people gather. The magazines are delivered by direct mail monthly to over 40,000 homes valued in the millions of dollars. They are also being distributed throughout the city at strategic locations, such as Town Centers, Country Clubs, Athletic Clubs and the Resorts & Spas, along with our advertising partners in the city.

Whew!! Has it been hot and wet this summer, or what??? I think I speak for everyone when I say, Im awfully glad that October has arrived! Two-thirds through the hurricane season and boy were their predictions ever wrong!! (I hope!)

We are heading into that time of year that drew us all into Estero to begin with: Fall and winter. It wont be long until we feel that pleasant, slight chill in the morning air and some welcome relief from the summer humidity.

Soon, our Northern friends will be coming home and will begin to plan all of the wonderful activities that we enjoy each year. We are well into the football season at every level. The fall sports of soccer, volleyball and golf are in full swing at FGCU and our Florida Everblades open their season on October 18th vs. Orlando.

Our Everblades special feature this month presents team captain and face of the Everblades, Matthieu Roy. Matthieu was the leagues leading scorer last season and is returning for his 6th season with the Blades. Enjoy getting to know him.

We would like to welcome to Estero a new business, located in the Jimmy Johns/ABC Liquor plaza on US 41, Estero Family Chiropractic. Dr. Larry and Dr. Jeff have a fresh approach to chiropractic care that I am sure you will nd most interesting.

And even more great news!! The Promenade at Bonita Bay is set to make a comeback!! Many of you probably dont even remember this beautiful location during its heyday. It will be anchored by Nonna DeRosas Gourmet Market

and Restaurant. Management is predicting the plaza will be full by this time next year. Learn about all the exciting things that are about to happen.

Read about a new contemporary church in Estero that is reaching out both to the community and to FGCU students. Learn how another local ministry has assisted Thrive Community Church to ful ll its mission. Good things lie ahead for this new outreach.

And nally, our dining in style showcases Pagellis Rustic Tuscan Grille at Coconut Point Mall. They are rebranding with homemade sauces and pastas and everything cooked to order. If you havent been to Pagellis in a while (or have never been), now is the time to do so. Their old-world style is calling.

Lastly, I want to welcome back those who have rejoined us and to wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween!! Be careful of

the ghosts and goblins, but most importantly have fun!!

I can be reached at gisrael@lmg .com

So, until next month, I invite you to Enjoy the Lifestyle.
