INT. - A HALLWAY INSIDE CITY HALL - DAY
TIMMY mills about with a group of KIDS, all wearing CHOMPY THE GOAT SHIRTS and HATS. Many of them are drinking SODAS. Everyone is excited.

ON TIMMY
COSMO and WANDA float near Timmy as BALLOONS.
2 TIMMYChompy! Chompy! Chompy!
3 WANDAHey Timmy?
4 COSMOWhat’s a Chompy? Does it hurt?
5 TIMMYChompy’s a goat! He’s Dimmsdale’s town hero and mascot!
VICKY muscles her way through the crowd.

9 VICKYEcch! I can’t believe your parents made me take you on this stupid tour of City Hall. Boooring!
10 TIMMYHey, they’re paying you, aren’t they? Besides, it’s Chompy! I can’t learn enough about Chompy!

Vicky gives him a wedgie.

13 VICKY “undies” plus “gravity” equals wedgie!
The MAYOR of Dimmsdale, wearing a SASH that reads “Mayor,” walks up to the kids.
14 KIDS AND TIMMYChompy! Chompy! Chompy!
15 MAYORHeh heh! Oh, you kids and your goat. I’m the Mayor! Doesn’t anyone want to hear about my accomplishments?
ON KIDS
Nothing. CRICKETS chirp. A TUMBLEWEED blows through.
16 MAYOR I hate not being the goat.
(embittered beat)Let’s continue the tour, with a walk through the Hall of Goaty Greatness.
The group walks past a series of GIGANTIC, DRAMATIC PAINTINGS, depicting CHOMPY, carrying out amazing feats of heroism. The first painting: CHOMPY PULLING A COAL MINER’S CART, FULL OF CHILDREN, OUT OF A COLLAPSING BUILDING.
17 MAYOR It was Chompy who pulled a cart of children from a collapsing day care center. And then changed their diapers! And all without opposable thumbs!

Next painting: CHOMPY sits in a LAB, wearing a LAB COAT and holding TEST TUBES.

The tour group arrives a TV SCREEN: The mayor hits a BUTTON and AN IMAGE flickers to life.
ON THE MONITOR: A COW kicks over a LANTERN, igniting a PILE OF HAY.
23 MAYORAnd, Chompy! Whose quick thinking saved our town from a raging fire!
CHOMPY runs in and knocks the cow onto the fire, extinguishing it.
24 COWMoooo…
25 CHOMPY(goatty laughs)
26 KIDS AND TIMMYYay, Chompy!
27 MAYORBut, you know... all that hero-ing was dangerous! We have flunkies for that now! Which is why we keep him safe and sound at City Hall!
The tour continues and they stop in front a CURTAINED AREA.
28 MAYORAnd now... behold... the living glory that is Chompy, the Goat!
The mayor pulls a DRAWSTRING. The curtains part, revealing CHOMPY THE GOAT - in the flesh - in a gigantic PEN. A SPOTLIGHT hits him from above. He looks up sadly.

ON TIMMY, COSMO AND WANDA
31 WANDAThat’s him?
ON ALL KIDS so we know they hear it when Cosmo says:
32 COSMOWhat’s the big deal?! He’s just a smelly, old goat!
Every child drinking a soda does a SPITTAKE.
33 KIDSPtptptpthhhbbbb!
They wheel around and stare at Timmy. The Cosmo and Wanda balloons look at each other, “pop” and begin zipping around wildly as they deflate.
34 MAYORWho said that? Whoever said that, say “Eeeep!”
Vicky gives Timmy another Wedgie.
35 TIMMYEEEEEP! (recovers) ooooh.
36 MAYORHOW DARE YOU MINIMIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF CHOMPY! The rest of you can head off to the Chompy-the-Goat-gift-shop, because it looks like somebody needs a little alone time with our goat hero.
37 KIDS (WALLA)We want alone time! Pick me! Me!
38 MAYORNo, no...run along now good, thoughtful, goat-appreciating children.

Everyone zips off frame except for Vicky.
39 VICKYHa! See ya, twerp!
She exits. The Mayor dramatically approaches Timmy.
40 MAYOR Go. Beg Chompy’s forgiveness.
The Mayor exits, closing the curtains. We see Chompy is miserable. Cosmo and Wanda pop in, in fairy form.
41 TIMMYNice goin’ on the “smelly old goat” comment, Cosmo.
42 COSMOI was right on the money... except for the smelly and old parts!
43 WANDAFor a town hero, he sure looks sad. You think he likes it in there?
44 TIMMYI don’t know. I wish I could see what he was thinking.
45 COSMOOne “Goat mind reading power” coming up!
They wave their wands and POOF! Timmy’s head radiates those little “AQUAMAN FISH TELEPATHY RINGS” (complete with sound effects.)
A THOUGHT BUBBLE pops over Chompy’s head. In it, we see Chompy, happily romping through a field. Then, we see Chompy meet a FEMALE GOAT. They nuzzle noses.
46 WANDAAww... goat love!
47 COSMOThey say it’s the most honest love there is!
48 TIMMYAll Chompy wants is to be free! To run and frolic and meet girl goats!

Chompy licks Timmy happily. Cosmo and Wanda wave their wands and POOF! Chompy’s gone!
54 VICKY (O.S.)Hey, Twerp!
Cosmo and Wanda poof away. Vicky, wearing even more goat stuff, steps into the pen.
55 VICKY Time to go! But first...
Vicky gives Timmy the mother of all wedgies, lodging his underwear over his head. It looks as though he’s wearing a super hero mask.
56 TIMMYEEEEEEEP!
57 VICKYHahahahahahahaha!
Timmy, having problems seeing with his undies over his head, flails around and knocks Vicky to the ground. He lands on top of her.
58 VICKY Get off me, you dork!
The Mayor enters with TWO GUARDS, drinking from MUGS.
59 MAYORSmelly old goat, can you believe it-- Chompy’s gone!!!

Vicky tries to get up, only to be tripped by the still-blinded-by-his-own-underwear Timmy again. The guards grab Vicky.

64 GUARD 2Good work, Underwear-Over-Your-Head Lad!
65 TIMMYWait-hold on (struggle sounds) gasp! (relieved) Ahhhh…
Timmy pulls the underwear off of his head.
66 MAYORIt’s you! The boy who didn’t understand the relevance of Chompy!
67 TIMMYBut...
68 MAYORI know. You’re crushed, because you couldn’t stop the goat-napper before she handed our beloved goat over to her team of terrorist, goat-taking cohorts!
69 VICKYWhat? That’s the stupidest...
70 MAYORTake her away!
71 VICKYHey! Noooo.
The mayor and guards exit with Vicky in tow. Cosmo and Wanda run up to Timmy as mice.
72 TIMMYWOW! Vicky’s getting blamed for what I did!

The Mayor walks back in with MISS DIMMSDALE, pageant queen. He puts a “Town Hero” SASH over Timmy’s chest, which remains on for the duration.
75 MAYORNew town hero, Timmy? Can Miss Dimmsdale give you a ride home in this shiny, new hovercraft?
ANGLE ON THE WINDOW: We see said HOVERCRAFT.
76 TIMMYI don’t know. You see, the truth is, Vicky didn’t really take the...
The mayor holds up a pair of SHINY CAR KEYS. Timmy’s eyes widen.
77 MAYOR...And once you get home, can she give you the shiny new hovercraft?
78 TIMMY...ooo... shiny...
Timmy exits, as though hypnotized by the keys. Cosmo and Wanda share a nervous look.
79 WANDATimmy’s not old enough to drive!
80 MAYOR (O.S.)...And here’s your special “Ten and under, Town Hero, driver’s license!”
81 COSMOI call shotgun!
Cosmo poofs away. Wanda follows.

Cosmo and Wanda POOF! into scene as LAWN FLAMINGOS.

The Hovercraft craft flips end over end into frame, landing hard. The doors open, revealing Timmy, in the driver’s seat and Ms. Dimmsdale in the passenger. THEY ARE FINE.
84 TIMMYSorry about the hovercraft, Ms. Dimmsdale!
85 MS. DIMMSDALEThat’s okay, Timmy! You’ve got “Town Hero Hovercraft Insurance!”
Timmy turns and sees a CROWD OF CHILDREN, all wearing UNDERWEAR over their heads. They hold SIGNS with Timmy’s face.
86 TIMMY FAN 1Hey look! It’s Town Hero, Timmy AKA Underwear- Over-His-Head-Lad!
87 TIMMY FAN 2Let’s rip off his clothes and auction them on the internet!
The kids start after Timmy. He and his two, flamingo pals, run to the house as we...

INT. - TURNER HOUSE - SAME TIME
Timmy enters and slams the door. The crowd of kids pushes from the other side, screaming for Timmy as though he were a Beatle. Timmy finally shoves the door shut.
88 KIDSTimmy! YAY! Timmy!!
89 TIMMY(panting) Whew!
He turns, revealing MOM and DAD, ALSO wearing underwear over their heads.

Cosmo and Wanda float next to Timmy, eating cake. They all watch T.V.

Wanda glares. Timmy gets a little squirmy.
97 TIMMY Uh… Besides, my feeling guilty about that doesn’t change how this cake tastes...
Wanda glares again. Timmy crumbles a little more.
98 TIMMY Heh...Although you’d think it would.
Cosmo does a spittake with the cake.
99 COSMO(spittake) ON TV! They’re talking about Timmy!

100 REPORTER Mr. Mayor, has the goat-napper revealed the whereabouts of Chompy yet?

ON VICKY AND TWO GUARDS
102 VICKYI’m telling you, I don’t know where the stupid goat...
A guard rubs a BALLOON on the wall with one hand and taps her lightly with the other. Her hair stands on end and settles into a hideous frizz.
103 VICKY HEY!!

INT. - TIMMY’S ROOM - SAME TIME
Timmy and Cosmo laugh. Wanda scowls.
104 TIMMY AND COSMOHahahahahahahahaha…………
105 WANDAIs that fair? After all, you’re the one who let Chompy go!
106 TIMMYI know. I’ll figure out a way to free her as soon as this cake stops tasting good.
Cosmo takes a bite.

Timmy opens his eyes and reaches to turn on his light. CLICK! The room brightens to reveal...
WIDE SHOT OF ROOM
The room is filled with surreal and bizarre STUFF. (A combination of goofy and scary things.) We see a pirate, a pig, flaming goat heads, a monkey, etc.
109 MONKEY(monkey sounds)
110 TIMMYGasp! Argh!… YAAAGH! Yargh! Yargh!
Timmy ducks under the covers.
111 TIMMY Gotta be dreaming.
Timmy looks up and sees the monkey is bouncing up and down on his head.

Timmy gets sucked down into a SEA OF MUK before he can finish his wish. A bubble rises from the sea, floats in the air and pops. Out of the bubble, comes Timmy’s voice.
122 TIMMY (OS)… gone!
POOF! All gone. Cosmo and Wanda huff and puff, exhausted.
123 TIMMY Okay. I probably ate a little too much hero cake... Let’s just all go back to sleep...
Timmy reaches over and turns his light off. CLICK!
DISSOLVE TO:
SAME SHOT - TIMMY SLEEPING

Wish... goat... Vicky... GASP!
POOF! Something skitters across his face. We HEAR a weird animal noise. Timmy turns his light on.
WIDEN TO REVEAL the room, filled with MORE SURREAL STUFF. Wanda slips on DNA as she runs from a THREE HEADED GOAT.

Wanda POOFS into a Sigmund FREUD-ISH TYPE. When the POOF clears, the room is empty. Timmy lays on a COSMO COUCH.

Now. Let’s take a peek at vhat your zubconscious is zaying!
Wanda unscrews the top of Timmy’s head and opens it like a trash lid. A smaller Timmy pops out.
134 SMALLER TIMMYVicky’s innocent! I’m the goat-napper! I stole the goat! Me! Me! ME! I don’t deserve to be a hero!
135 COSMOWhoa! Whoa! I’m not good with this psycho, mumbo jumbo. What’s that mean?

Mom and Dad, wearing PAJAMAS, open the door and peek in.

140 TIMMYYeah, but... can I ask you something?
141 DADSure, hero, anything.

LONG BEAT: NOTHING. We hear crickets. A tumbleweed blows through. ANOTHER LONG BEAT.

144 TIMMYWell, what if, hypothetically, I was the goat-napper?
145 DADWell, Son, then I’d have to do this!
(beat)(SCREAMS LIKE A LITTLE GIRL)
Dad faints dead away.
146 DAD (from the floor)
Hypothetically, of course.
147 MOMWell, good night, Son, whom-I-would-hate-to-discover-was-actually-the-goat-napper!
Mom drags Dad out of the room by his heels.

Timmy sits on his bed.
151 TIMMYWell, I can’t dream if I don’t sleep, right? So I’ll just stay awake...
Timmy clicks the light off. His eyes are still wide open.

MONTAGE - TIMMY STILL SITTING IN HIS BED
Night turns to day, day turns to night, night turns to the next morning. Timmy has not moved.
MATCH SHOT - TIMMY’S ROOM - TWO MORNINGS LATER
Timmy is still awake, now dressed for school. His eyes are tired, narrow slits with dark circles beneath them.

Cosmo and Wanda wave their wands. Suddenly, the sky turns pitch black and it starts to rain DUCKS. One duck gets stuck in the WINDSHIELD WIPER.
156 WANDADuck!

158 DUCKS (WALLA)Quack, quack, quack, quack!
DISSOLVE TO:
INT. - CLASS ROOM - LATER
Timmy, at his desk, fights to stay awake. MR. CROCKER and FRANCIS stand at the front of the room. Outside the window, it’s still raining ducks.
159 TIMMY(muttering to himself)
160 TIMMYNot Vicky... I wish... swarm of lab mice...
Cosmo and Wanda wince, then wave their wands. Suddenly, like a sea of cotton balls, MICE pour in from everywhere.
161 KIDS (UTTER CHAOS) AAAAAAA!
A voice is heard over the LOUDSPEAKER.
162 LOUDSPEAKERDue to the rain of ducks and plague of mice, school will be let out early.
ON TIMMY
163 TIMMY(snoring and muttering)
I wish... Crocker’s head… jar of mustard.

Timmy stands, half awake, at the door of the school with Cosmo and Wanda as POTTED PLANTS. Kids and white mice pour out of the school around him as the rain of ducks continues.
166 WANDAWe’ve got to get Chompy back here. It’s only a matter of time before he wishes for something really dangerous.
167 TIMMYMurmur... murmur... I WISH FOR A GIGANTIC MONSTER THAT WON’T GO AWAY UNTIL I TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT CHOMPY!
They reluctantly raise their wands and POOF! From over the horizon, a gigantic GREEN MONSTER rises.
168 MONSTERRRRRRRAAAAAAA!!!!!
169 COSMOI’ll bet that’s symbolic of his guilt!
(beat)Hey, I am getting good with that psycho mumbo jumb...
170 WANDALook out!!!
The monster goes on a rampage and starts angling in on Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda. Timmy wakes up.
171 TIMMYAAA!! I wish we were with Chompy!
They raise their wands and POOF!

(falls asleep, snore, snore)Mumble... mumble... I wish… mumble… mumble… field on fire...
Cosmo and Wanda wave their wands. A small tuft of FLAME pops up near Timmy. Suddenly...

Chompy leaps heroically into scene and stomps out the fire.
175 TIMMYChompy! It’s you! You’ve gotta come back to Dimmsdale! You...
A LADY GOAT and THREE BABY GOATS trot into frame. The last baby goat wears a little pink HAT.

EXT. - CITY HALL - A LITTLE LATER / NIGHT
The reporter, from the press conference, stands in front of Chompy’s pen. A CROWD has gathered.
182 REPORTERWe’re here at City Hall, where Town Hero, Timmy Turner has scheduled a press conference about Chompy!
Timmy grabs a MICROPHONE. In the crowd, we see the mayor, drinking a SODA. Around him, people hold “Timmy Turner Hero” flags.
183 TIMMYUh... hi. Everybody... I have a confession to make. I’m no hero.
184 MAYORHe’s so modest! Let’s give him another hovercraft to wreck!
185 CROWDYEAH!!!
186 TIMMYNo! No! No more hovercrafts! No more gifts! No more cake! I can’t take it anymore! Vicky didn’t make Chompy go away... I did.

INT. - TURNER HOUSE - SAME TIME
Mom and Dad, watching the event on TV.
187 TIMMY (VO)I did.

The monster drinks from a WATER TOWER..

POOF! The Monster disappears.

Cosmo and Wanda are TRASH CANS as Timmy runs past them as fast as his little legs can take him. Timmy takes a turn...

The crowd arrives, blocking Timmy. Cosmo and Wanda poof next to him, still as trash cans.

The angry mob moves closer and closer to Timmy when suddenly, Chompy crashes through the BRICK WALL!

Then, through another wall, Mrs. Chompy bursts through. Then, the kids, forming a protective ring around Timmy.
209 MAYORAnd he’s got a family!

The mayor walks up to Timmy and pats his shoulder.

Timmy’s in his jammies. Mom and Dad stand over him as Dad eats the rest of Timmy’s cake.

218 MOMWell, sure, Honey! We’re proud of you for telling the truth, but you still lied to the entire town!
219 TIMMYBut my lie made everything better! I know it was wrong, but doesn’t that count for anything?

INT. - A JAIL CELL - SAME TIME
Vicky is still in a stockade.
