    Dear Exhibitors:

Supported by HKSAR Government and the EVS25 Organizing Committee, The EVS25 Hong

Kong Rally and Exhibition, organized by CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd. (CLP), will be held in

the period of 11th Nov to 14th Nov. This event will start off with an EV Rally followed by a

Grand Opening Ceremony on 11th Nov morning. It will then continue for 3 days when

seminars, exhibition, and several ride and drive sessions will be held, all at the Hong Kong

    Science & Technology Park (HKSTP).

CLP, as the largest electric power utility in Hong Kong serving 80 percent of the territorys

population, is committed to clean and efficient fuel in its published Energy Vision and Climate

Vision. Promoting green transportation in Hong Kong through the provision of EV charging

infrastructure as well as leading the adoption of EVs in its fleet, CLP Power is working closely

with government and the local communities and through environmental education of the

public, provides strong support to Government's environmental initiatives.

The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) has been active

to promote clean energy and green transportation. A Government Steering Committee on

promotion of Electric Vehicles (EV) led by the Financial Secretary was set up in April 2009,

and a number of recommendations on the strategy and measures as well as policy for

promoting EVs has been made and implemented.

CLP believes that the event would generate much positive publicity on EV and environmental

awareness and is conducive to the Hong Kong Governments initiatives to encourage wider

use of EV to the community. It allows the general public to gain first-hand experience of the

various features and benefits of EV.

This event anticipates having extensive media coverage which will be a great opportunity to

allow exhibitors to showcase their mission, vision and also products to the world.
