Please find enclosed herewith a copy of letter dated 5'h May, 2017 alongwithits enclosures, received from Area Director, Special Olympic Bharat, Oelhi on thesubject cited above, whereby it has been intimated that all Disability NationalGames are scheduled to be held at Ahmedabad, Gujrat from 5-10 June, 2017. ThisChampionship pertains to North, South, East, West and Central districts of Delhi.

Special Olympic Bharat has also enclosed the list of athletes from Gov1.schools who are selected for National Games.

All the Heads of the schools of North, South, East, West and Central districtsare requested to confirm the availability of atheletes(by name) indicating the type ofdisability and also intimate the atheletes to carry the required disability certificatesmentioned in the enclosed letter.

I. It is intimated to this organisation by SOB National Office that All DisabilityNational Games are scheduled to be held at Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 05 - 10June 2017. This Championship pertains to North, South, East, West and Centraldistricts of Delhi, the Delhi State Games for which were held in December 2016.

2. Enclosed please find the list of athletes from Govt Schools who are selectedfor National Games. While confirming the availability of athletes (by name) pleaseindicate the type of disability along with. Kindly intimate to the schools concernedthat the athletes are in possession of the following»

• Disability Certificate for Hearing Impaired and Physical Disability inoriginal, three photocopies of each certificate and two passport sizephotographs.

• IQ Certificate (for Intellectually Disabled athletes) in original and threecopies of the certificate.

5. Pre-departure briefing to all athletes will be carried out on 18 May 17 at aboutI 100 hrs at our office:

The Games will e a complete show ase of the abilities of the children with special needs,when they co pete at National Ie I after marking their grounds at local, district and statelevel meets. ;Athletes will be co eting in ten disciplines i.e. Athletics, Aquatics, Badminton,Bocce, Football, Table Tennis, C( ket, Volleyball, Kho-Kho and Kabbadi.

Please Note:ATHLETICS: Each athlete can participate in 2 events excluding Relay, Entries to the softball

throw must be less than 20m for females and 24m for males. Entries to the SOmrun must be Greater than 12 seconds for females and 11 seconds for males.

BADMINTON & TABLE TENNIS: One Athlete can participate in 2 events.

Quota Enhancement: States can request the requirement of extra quota and will be decidedby the management.

Water: Filtered Water will be made available; alt campersare to make arrangement for their own water bottles

Medication: Any Athlete requiring special medication should carryall his / her medicine and bring all his/ her medicalpapers.
