CIRCULAR

Subject: SA-1 in mathematics for 42 listed schools(30 pilot schools +12schools of Shakurpur cluster)

2016-17

A project to improve the quality of mathematics learning was piloted in Class 1 ,2 during 2015-16

and class 3 during 2016-17 in 42 schools (list attached).

As the children in these schools in classes 1 ,2 and 3 have been learning through activity-based

methods, the assessment should also be conducted with the same approach for SA-I.

It is hereby directed that the Question paper of mathematics (class-3) for SA-! will not beadministered in these schools.lnstead,SA-l of these children in Mathematics will be conducted

after a orientation workshop regarding assessment tools to be used. The workshop will be

conducted by SCERT.The schedule of the workshop will be uploaded soon.
