SAP Knowledge Base Article Symptom The user receives SAP error message /SAPAPO/TSM298. The description of the message is "Key figure description for key figure <KF> does not exist in liveCache", where <KF> is a key figure with inconsistent description. Besides, you can receive a COM Error (40.134), which means that "Key figure does not exist", when loading data to a planning book in the Interactive Planning (/SAPAPO/SDP94). This error could be caused by the inconsistency with Key Figure description. Environment l SAP SCM Release Independent Reproducing the Issue The user ran consistency check /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK and found this issue in results: "Key figure description for key figure <KF> does not exist in liveCache Message no. /SAPAPO/TSM298" The consistency check doesn't repair the error. Cause The cause of this error is due to an inconsistency between the key figure description in liveCache and in the database key figure(s) of the planning area. This inconsistency is due to the fact that the key figure exists in the database but does not exists in liveCache. Resolution The first solution to this issue would be the following: l Try repair the error using /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK and the "Repair" option checked. Note 1283440 or corresponding Support Package level should be present. If consistency check cannot repair, then... l Check consistency using /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK, note down the key figures which couldn't be repaired. l Enter report /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_PAREA_CHANGE2. For the key figures in question, change one setting (e.g. disaggregation mode, accuracy). Execute changes. l Change back the settings to the previous values. Execute changes. l Double check with /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK. The key figure description should be repaired. However, this does not always repair the issue. So, if this solution does not take the desired effect, the only solution left is to do the de-initialization and re-initialization of the Planning Area.     Symptom

    The user receives SAP error message /SAPAPO/TSM298. The description of the message is "Key figure description for key figure does not exist in liveCache", where is a key figure with inconsistent description.

    Besides, you can receive a COM Error (40.134), which means that "Key figure does not exist", when loading data to a planning book in the Interactive Planning (/SAPAPO/SDP94). This error could be caused by the inconsistency with Key Figure description.

    Reproducing the Issue

    The user ran consistency check /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK and found this issue in results:

    "KeyfiguredescriptionforkeyfiguredoesnotexistinliveCache

    Message no. /SAPAPO/TSM298"

    The consistency check doesn't repair the error.

    Cause

    The cause of this error is due to an inconsistency between the key figure description in liveCache and in the database key figure(s) of the planning area. This inconsistency is due to the fact that the key figure exists in the database but does not exists in liveCache.

    Resolution

    The first solution to this issue would be the following:

    l Try repair the error using /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK and the "Repair" option checked. Note 1283440 or corresponding Support Packagelevelshouldbepresent.Ifconsistencycheckcannotrepair,then...

    l Check consistency using /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK, note down the key figures which couldn't be repaired. l Enter report /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_PAREA_CHANGE2. For the key figures in question, change one setting (e.g. disaggregation mode,
