May 2017 Pacifica Senior Living is host- ing an Open House soiree for the reopening of Alder Cottage on May 11 th , 4-6pm. We will be serving hors devours and wine from Skylite Cellars, a local win- ery. Locally known, Roberta Montana, a harpist, will be performing. We welcome you to join us to see all of our stunning improvements! Congratulations to Chrissy Grimaldi, our May employee of the month! Chrissy has been a loyal, hard work- ing and caring resident assistant for 8 years. Chrissy grew up in California and has three children. She enjoys walking, hiking, crocheting blankets and listening to music. Chrissy always goes above and beyond for our residents. Thank you Chrissy, for having a heart of gold and for your dedication! We are happy to announce that Nancy Clapp will be joining our Pacifica Lynnwood team as our new Business Office Director. This will be her first full time position back in the work force since she left IBM in 1999 with the birth and adop- tion of her first and second chil- dren. A third followed not far be- hind. In between, she has had sev- eral part time jobs and has done lots of volunteer work, but she’s excited for this opportunity. Nancy grew up in Oklahoma and went to college on the east coast at Lehigh University. Since that time, she managed to live in all four time zones in the continental U.S.! She’s been lucky to live in Austin, TX, Den- ver, CO, and Seattle, WA – all exciting and beautiful places. Nancy hopes to stay put for a while though! In Nancy’s free time, she loves to read, walk in the gorgeous PNW outdoors, play badminton with her kids in the summer, watch mov- ies at the Edmonds Theater with friends, and visit family in Walla Walla! We look forward to getting to know more about you Nancy!

Every week, a number of spiritual services are offered to our residents. We have a weekly ‘Men’s Bible Study’ that takes place at 8:30am in Cedar Cottage. On Sundays, we offer a Bible Study and Hymn Sing program at 3pm in Elm Cottage. Each Wednesday, the Eucharistic minister visits each cottage for communion starting at 11am. Join our weekly happy hour socials where our residents congregate and joyously sing and converse over fine cheese and crackers and favorite beverages.
