• Kapil was to shoot with singer Sonu Nigam for his upcoming episode of Comedy Nights With Kapil, but the set of his show was burnt to ashes. Everybody thought his golden run would come to a halt. But he came back with a bang and regained the top spot as the king of comedy. Kapil attributes his successful comeback to help and encouragement from stalwarts like Lata Mangeshkar, Shah Rukh Khan, Rohit Shetty and not to forget, his zillions of fans.
