carbon colour has been solving print and display problems for our clients since 1990 when we started off in a converted boathouse which was just behind the Oxford Gaol.

We were one of the first companies in the Thames Valley to work with the technologies offered by digital colour printing and we quickly discovered that by combining large and small format equipment with a range of finishing processes we could provide our ever growing list of clients with more than just quick turnaround. Twenty three years later we now offer a little more than we did before!

Now with over three thousand square feet of production space in the heart of Milton Park and team of specialists; we can design, print, finish and install digitally printed materials ranging from the size of a postage stamp, right up to the size of a building.

If you thought that digital print limited you to just bits of paper, then it’s time to think more creatively.

At carbon colour we’ve been asked to fold, bind and stick things in all manner of ways. If you’re not sure what’s possible then take a look at the gallery on our website which gives an idea of some of the things we’ve done. If you aren’t sure what kind of material you want, or how your artwork will reproduce, we are happy to print free test samples for you.

Thanks to the latest technology you can now see exactly how your finished job will look, because our proofs are always run on the machine that will be used to produce your job. Whatever the stock you choose, it can then be numbered, collated, cut to shape, creased, folded, stapled and bound in-house, to make booklets, manuals or folders in a variety of sizes and styles.

Printed sheets can be cut to size, laminated, encapsulated, round cornered, spot varnished, embossed, foil blocked, drilled, hole punched, wire bound, steel spined or perfect bound to create professional looking documents or shrink-wrapped ready to be dropped into bespoke ring binders. Before being inserted, packed and mailed, made ready for distribution or delivered to your door.

finishing:

If you need help with creative work we’d be delighted to meet with you and discuss how we could develop your ideas and concepts. If you need to adapt an existing product send us the basic content and relax whilst we do the rest.

Our studio offers everything from simple re-touching to a complete scanning service from 35mm slides through to metre wide flat artwork. We can take multi-page or bulk documents, scan and archive them to pdf, create page-flipping format or editable documents suitable for distribution or access via the net. Our web design team can help transform your internet presence into a significant part of your e-marketing strategy, whether you need a subtle change to your existing design or a complete new start. We also utilise a wide range of multimedia specialists who can provide stock art, music, illustration, animation, studio photography and video.

Ideal for training events, presentations and conferences; we can manufacture bespoke CD’s and DVD’s in-house; producing high quality photo-realistic discs that are scratch and fade resistant and allowing you to order lower quantities than conventional duplicators.

media and studio:

Outdoor graphics are a great way to promote yourself, your event or your business to the public; creating interest, attracting potential customers or reinforcing your brand. Whether it needs to last for just a day or all year, we have a range of products to choose from. Our large format products are perfect for getting your name seen when sponsoring events, sports fixtures, corporate events, county shows, markets, or even the humble village fete. Our range of outdoor display systems is specifically designed to withstand the rigours of the British climate – and our team will be only too happy to help you select the most suitable product.

Our classic pvc material is widely used for banners and in display frames, but for more specialist applications and where uv resistance is more important, a wide range of materials are available, including mesh, polyester fabrics, billboard paper and self-adhesive cut vinyl. We will always advise on the substrate we feel is best suited to make the most of your project or event. Our team are ready to help you from start to finish; including site inspections, planning, design, production, installation and removal.

If you are considering exhibiting this year, carbon colour has the expertise and capability to help your stand shine without casting a shadow over your bank balance.

We offer a full exhibition service range, from large bespoke displays to a single roller banner and we can offer ‘short term rental’ on some flexible units.There are stands suitable for one-off use right through to premium models for continual and long-term display. We can also produce replacement prints, re-wrap your frame and supply accessories to fit most existing modular systems.

Our latest Mod frame is an innovative British designed system that uses a combination of straight and curved aluminium tubing whilst the Cobalt pop up display system comes with a lifetime guarantee and offers a range of specifications to suit the location. Using colourful imagery and logos in the form of large panels is a great way to revamp your office, reinforce your brand at reception or invigorate work space. Your final images can be produced on an extensive range of materials including fabrics, hanging banners, rigid panels and self-cling interior display film. All selected substrates are specified to meet the particular demands of your job and we’d be delighted to show you samples. You can even use a mixture of different media to help create quite dramatic effects and finished items can be velcroed, framed, suspended, mounted or glued to walls. We offer a wide range of fixing systems which makes them suitable for retail display and our low-tack products are ideal for short life projects. Our own squad of fitters can easily install all of your graphics at a time to suit you, ensuring the smooth running of your business.
