ISRI Returns to the East Coast of the United States with the largest ISRI Convention and Exposition! The ISRI Convention and Exposition is the world’s largest trade show with more than 300 vendors and world-renowned guest speakers. ISRI offers nearly 100 workshop and spotlight programs designed to help you streamline your operations. More exhibits than ever before—over 300 exhibiting companies offering equipment, products and services

specific to the recycling industry. There is also more networking opportunities with over 5,000 colleagues from every state and more than 45 countries worldwide.

Make sure to come and see us April 11th and 12th at booth #1419.

The week of March 19-21 B-TEK exhibited at the World of Asphalt/AGG1 Show in San Antonio, TX. This year’s show set a record for exhibitors and was up in attendance from 2012. In a true sign that capital spending is increasing, moods were good and many higher decision-makers from larger corporations were in attendance and walking the floor at this year’s show. Everyone from asphalt plant manufacturers to bulldozer manufacturers had their new equipment showcased in hopes that the 2013 Federal

road-building budget ends up being the record amount that it is supposed to be.One unexpected part of the show was the presence of many sand fracking companies from the oil and gas industry. These aren’t necessarily the companies that you expect to see at this show but with the oil boom nationally this could be a trend for years to come. Sand fracking companies have proven to be great customers for the scale industry and are starting up not only in Texas, but also throughout the northeast and into the Midwest. Please contact B-TEK to see some of the applications that we have engineered throughout the sand fracking industry.Overall, this show has been a good tool for us to gauge the market for the upcoming year and if our past experience holds true, 2013 should continue to be a strong year with considerably more capital projects than 2012.
