Education is the Key to Success in Life

Mr. Speaker,

Honorable judges,

Colleagues,

The opposition

Members of this August Hall,

Good morning.

Members of the house:

As the motion goes:

Education is the Key to Success in Life

Allow me first and foremost to define todays

motion:

Education

According to Education Act 1996, it means

formal education, one curriculum to

mould a balanced individual according to theNational Education Philosophy and

contribute to the nation

Key

Decisive

Success

According to UNESCO refers to enhancement in

living quality NOT Achievement

LifeBirth, living, dying, the basis of time on earth

Todays motion simply means:

A balanced individual decides his or her

qualities during his or time on earth

Our Stand is:

Only through formal education where an

individual is shaped and balanced that the

individual has the power to decide on his time

on earth

My role as the first speaker is to enlighten you

on our 1st

Point.

Our second speaker will present two more

arguments of the Government.

Finally, our third speaker will DEvalue ALL theopposition arguments and reinforce ourSTAND on the motion.

Our 1s Point:

Formal Education shapes and balances

Intelligence

Members of the House,

Everyone is born with intelligence. Education

shapes and balances intelligence.

Education plays a key role in life, without it any

one could become discontented.

Although some, like Bill Gates, dropped out of

college and is content, a majority of the time

educated people prosper; giving eager young

minds the opportunity to fulfill their dreams.

People who are formally educated have a lot

going for them they could pursue a career in

whichever field they dream.

People who take education for granted may not

have as many things going for them, due to lack

of knowledge.

Uneducated people may have experience, and

yes experience matters but it can only go so far.

Knowledge can be gained from experience andif an educated person already has the

knowledge, it s almost as if they were on a

treadmill of life going two times faster than an

uneducated person.

Due to a personal experience of observing

friends drop out of school, and statistics,

education seems to have a positive impact on

ones career, and more importantly one s life as

a whole.

This is what we called intelligence!

It shapes and balances the:

1. Mind such as Bill Gates or Steve Jobs

2. Need for intelligence thus more schools,

colleges and universities

3. Experiences and lives as a whole

Education is the Key to Success in Life

Definitely the opposition may claim that success

does not ONLY happen because of Education!

HOWEVER, this is as what we have stated

earlier:

A balanced individual decides his or her

qualities during his or time on earth

And to decide, we need education, formal

education.

Members of the House,

Education is the key to success and to open our

minds to what can be in our lives.

Without education you have nothing in this

world.

Members of The House:

Without education there would be no critical

thinking skills that lead to new ideas and the

development of new successful techniques or

inventions.

Education makes for new processes and

studying opens the mind to new ways of

thinking. Applying knowledge can make life

better on a day to day basis.

Again, Members of the House,

Education shows you how to do stuff. If there is

NO education, there would be no jobs. If there

is no job, there would be no money than there

is no food. If there is no food, we will become a

CAVEMAN EATING MUD!!
