PHILANTHROPY Throughoutthecourseofthesummer,teenswilllearntheimportanceoffundraisingfortheYMCA.Alongwiththeircounselors,camperswillplan,marketandexecutefundraisersthatbenefittheYMCA’sannualcampaign.
VOLUNTARISMTeenswillworkalongsideotherYprogramsandcommunitypartnerstogivebacktoourcommunityandhelpothersbyvolunteeringthroughout the summer.
STEMTeenswilltakeourSTEMactivitiestothenextlevelbyexploringchemistry,robotics,programmingandmore!Wewillalsotouchontopics such as social media responsibility and Internetsafety.
LITERATURE Weeklyreadingandwritingactivitieswillengageteensincriticalthinkingandgivethemanopportunitytounplug.Dedicatedtimeforreadingorjournalingwillbepartofourweeklylessonplanstoencouragecreativethinking.
