RIOHIT LS is a high energy, low water content and highly water resistant cap sensitive emulsion. APPLICATION RIOHIT LS has been design to provide excellent blast results in the toughest applications, as hard rock blasting with tight drilling patterns used in underground operations. RIOHIT LS is an ideal choice for priming applications, bottom charges and as a high energy column explosive in quarries, construction and mining operations for medium-hard rock blasting. Its high detonation velocity makes it an ideal primer for RIOXAM ANFO family. RIOHIT LS is manufactured in a wide variety of cartridge sizes to satisfy a wide range of blasting applications. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE The high water resistance of RIOHIT LS allows for its use in wet boreholes. Do not use in flammable or methane atmospheres. This product is detonator and RIOCORD 12 g/m sensitive. RIOHIT LS can be used within the temperature range of 0ºC and +50ºC and stored between 5ºC and +30ºC. For further information consult the Use Recommendations Sheet included inside the boxes or packaging of the product and its respective Material Safety Data Sheet. SAFETY USE: RIOHIT should be used, handled and stored with care, ensuring the product is kept away from flames and excessive heat sources. DISPOSAL: The disposal of explosive material can be dangerous, ensure the appropriate safety measures have been applied according to the instructions on the MSDS.
