RAMADANRamadan is a month of fasting when Muslims abstain from eating, drinking or smoking during daylight hours. During this time shopping and business hours
may be reduced. Out of respect visitors should not eat, drink or smoke during daylight hours in public. Hotels & resorts featured in our Arabia brochure cater
for guests by providing private areas for dining during the day. It’s a time for celebration from sunset onwards and many hotels arrange incredible banquets
and feasts in specially set up Ramadan tents. Dates for Ramadan are determined by the lunar calendar and will be around 21 August to 19 September 2009.

DubAi For centuries, this fascinating city has been a bustling trading port. Traditional dhow sailing ships still line the Dubai Creek today, as they have for hundreds of years. Once the centre of the international spice trade, old Dubai has been transformed over time into a thriving cosmopolitan city that now does its trading from modern shopping centres.
It is easy to see why people are attracted to Dubai. It is a safe and secure environment with wonderful natural assets such as year-round sunshine, beautiful white sands on endless beaches, and an exotic desert landscape.
Dubai is also an excellent base from which to explore the other Emirates, to combine a trip with the ancient Sultanate of Oman, or simply relax on the white sandy beaches on the Jumeirah coast.
DEVELOPiNG DubAi
Dubai is the world’s fastest growing city, and at times parts of the city resemble a construction site. However as growth happens at a such staggering rate the landscape is constantly changing. Many hotel and leisure projects are underway including Dubailand, the Bawadi Project, The World, Dubai Marina and waterfront and the Palm Islands are just a few.
As an ever changing destination, Dubai has adapted
itself to development and any disruption is kept to
a minimum. However please contact Wildlife Safari
for an update on how the construction will impact
on your choice of Dubai accommodation.
