„In my opinion, the ShadowsDay is one of the most educative eventsfor pupils and students. Because they help understand and evaluate
the situation in one’s dream work. I liked the way the activity was arranged (a short introduction to the airport in the Training Centre, the excursion and then you meet a smiling person whose shadow
you are going to be). I found it very positive that all the airport people who devoted their time to us were kind, responsive and obviously liked their work very much. I was
a shadow of a ground dispatcher. The short description of the work appealed to me and it was interesting to observe the dispatchers working with great responsibility and also to assume the dispatch-
er’s role as we were given a small task and explained how important it was to feel really responsible. I liked the Shadows Day at the airport. I will definitely participate
again if there is such an opportunity.” Zita Sokolova
„Great thanks for the chance to take part in the Shadows’ Day at the airport.
I liked the attitude of the professionals who were shadowed. They were keen to tell us as much as possible about their job and functions.
I suggest that such events are arranged more often. Thanks to everybody!”
Jevgeņijs Belovs
„I liked it very much that we were given a good impression of the airport and were
able to watch the airport at work.It was most exciting to „step into the
shoes” of the shadowed person.I realized that one must have great sense
of responsibility working at the airport.” Agnese Skuja
