Established in 1955,

Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications

(BUPT) is a national key university under the direct

administration of Ministry of Education of People’s

Republic of China. BUPT is located in Beijing. It is

The 2011 summer program for Global FutureLeaders in IT is an exciting youth leadership

training program, initiated by Beijing Universityof Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). Withthe rapid development in IT industry aroundthe world, especially in China, the program isdesigned to enhance international academiccommunication, show the professionaltechnological IT achievements, and help thepromising IT stars to explore a wider IT world.

A face to face chance to communicate with cutting

edge Chinese IT and its related experts:As a professional IT summer program, academic lectures

will play a major role in it. Professors, government ofcials

and Fortune 500 managers in IT industry will deliver various

speeches on research achievements, development tendency,

marketing competitions, state polices and enterprise cultures

etc. in China.

A personal visiting experience of Fortune 500:Tours to the leading and innovative IT companies will be

arranged, and Huawei, China Mobile, IBM China, Baidu,

Lenovo are on the contact list. Participants of the program will

visit China Telecom Museum and China Academy of Urban

Planning & Design as well.

An opportunity to learn Chinese:Participants of the program will have the opportunity to learn

basic Chinese. The International Chinese Language Training

Centre of BUPT was established in 1986. Over the past 24

years, it has trained students from more than 40 countries

around the world, including USA, Canada, Japan, South

Korea, France, Germany, Swiss, and so on. There is no doubt

that our excellent teaching team will give you an enjoyable

Chinese learning experience.

An opportunity to experience traditional Chineseculture:Various cultural activities,social programs are planed for the

participants as well. Participants will not only learn Kong

Fu, Chinese Calligraphy, paper-cutting and appreciate Peking

Opera, but also have the chance to visit local families to enjoy

common people’s daily life and make food together.

A vocational sightseeing tour around Beijing:Beijing is a city famous for its political effects as well as the

fantastic scenic spots. During the program, participants will

have chances to visit The Great Wall, Summer Palace and

many other historical places.

Important Dates:

The program is a selective one and open to all the

international students who are currently enrolled

in a university.

Please download the application form from our

Accommodation:Participants will reside in the universitydormitories. The dorm will be a double-bed room.

Fees:The total fee for the program is 12,000RMB and discounts can be given tostudents from BUPT's partner universities.

The fees cover:Tuition fee for Chinese courses and academic

lectures.

Accommodation for the program duration.

Participants can apply for a short extension for 

the accommodation at the price of 50 RMB/

day.

Cultural activities and social programs.

3 weeks’ insurance, prepaid cell phone card,

on campus dinning card etc.

Participants are responsible for the visa,ight and personal expenses.

Application will be cancelled if payment is not made

by the payment deadline
