Last year, a new Seaside tradition was born when The McGladreyClassic made its inaugural debut on the PGA TOUR.

I was excited to hear the players, caddies, officials, sponsors, volunteers and spectators express the great time they had andtell us they couldn’t wait to come back.

Perhaps the only thing more moving than tournament weekitself was the donations to Special Olympics and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeast Georgia based on the success ofour event. The McGladrey Classic is an Official Event of thePGA TOUR, an organization that has contributed more than $1 billion to charity.

We’re delighted you’re here. Please be sure to check out theSchedule of Events. Our tournament team has planned severalactivities to complement the opportunity to see some greatgolf. These activities kick-off with Darius Rucker performing“Live Under the Oaks” on Wednesday night, October 12.

Welcome to the Golden Isles of Georgia – my home! We hopeyou enjoy your time with us.

Sincerely,

Davis Love IIIMcGladrey Classic Chairman and HostTeam McGladrey Member2012 U.S. Ryder Cup Captain

Daily Pairings Sheet & MapA Pairings Sheet is included in the center of this Guide. Find out whenthe players tee off and the order of the groups. The Pairings Sheet includes a course map. Check the scoreboards to find out who the leaders are andwhere they are on the course. One way to tell the players from a distance is to look for their caddies, who wear vests that have color-coded pocketsand trim (green, blue or gray). Colors are indicated on the PairingsSheet. Visit mcgladreyclassic.com for next day pairings information.

Check the WeatherCheck the weather forecast before you visit The McGladrey Classic anddress appropriately. Expect mild mornings and warm, sunny afternoons,so dressing in layers is the best idea.

1Par 4417

This starting hole is a slight dog-leg left withbunkers protecting the right side of the fairway. After a good tee shot, the player is left with aslightly uphill second shot to a raised green protected on the left by a greenside bunker.

Page 16: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 17: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

2Par 4415

A difficult driving hole with marsh and bunkerleft and water on the right. The second shot tothis green can be made very difficult dependingon pin position as a bunker and water protectsthe right side and a peninsula green provides adifficult back pin placement.

Page 18: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 19: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

3Par 3204

A challenging par three with a bunker guardingthe front of the green. Missing the green to theleft will provide a difficult up and down for par.

Page 20: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 21: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

4Par 4429

This spectacular par four demands precision offthe tee with marsh left and a lake to the right. The second shot to this green is made difficultas a bunker protects the left side of the greenand chipping swales fall off on all other sides.

Page 22: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 23: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

5Par 4409

A difficult tee shot on this sharp dog-leg rightcan setup a short iron second shot for thelonger hitters or a mid-to-long iron for thoseplaying it safe. The green is protected by agreenside bunker on the right as well as marshrunning the right side and behind the green.

Page 24: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 25: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

6Par 3179

A downhill par three protected by a bunker infront and water behind the green. This hole isalways made difficult by swirling winds andrequires the right club selection.

Page 26: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 27: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

7Par 5582

The lone par five on the front side is flankedwith water to the right and dunes to the left. Agood tee shot, depending on the wind, can leavea player the opportunity to reach this green intwo shots. A second shot lay-up is made difficultby a large fairway bunker left and dunes to theright. The green has substantial movement andis protected by marsh long and right.

Page 28: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 29: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

8Par 4368

A short par four that provides players with manyoptions off the tee. A 3-wood or long iron offthe tee will leave a short, slightly uphill iron infor a second shot. A false front protects front pin locations and a large right greenside bunkerprotects back right pin locations.

Page 30: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 31: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

9Par 4452

A long par four with a bunker protecting the leftside of the fairway. After a good tee shot, playerswill be left with a mid-to-long second shot to agreen protected by a large greenside bunker tothe left.

Page 32: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 33: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

10Par 4418

Not an extremely long par four, but one thatrequires two solid golf shots. With water leftand a large bunker to the right, a solid tee shotis a must to be in position to attack this raisedgreen protected by a large bunker both frontand right.

Page 34: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 35: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

11Par 4425

A difficult tee shot as bunkers flank both theright and left sides. Longer hitters can carry theleft bunker leaving a short iron in for the secondshot. The green tilts from back to front and isprotected by bunkers right and left as well asmarsh long.

Page 36: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 37: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

12Par 3223

A long par three that is at the mercy of the wind.Playing to the center of the green, regardless ofpin position, will be the aim of all players. Alarge bunker protects the right side of the greenmaking it attractive as players must negotiatethe marsh short and left.

Page 38: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 39: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

13Par 4408

This signature hole plays once again at the mercyof the wind. Players have to negotiate the marshrunning the entire left side of the hole while paying attention to three large fairway bunkersprotecting the right side. An uphill shot to agreen protected by a large front bunker makesbirdie on this hole a bonus.

Page 40: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

Page 42: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 43: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

14Par 4442

This long par four is set up by the drive. Playersmust play far enough left to avoid the large oaktrees that can inhibit the second shot on this hole, while avoiding the marsh to the left. Set upon theAtlantic, wind is always a factor here and whilethere are no bunkers guarding the green, marshruns the entire left side making the swales rightof the green a common place to play third shots.

Page 44: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 45: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

15Par 5565

Long hitters can carry the fairway bunkerstretching across the left side to have a shot atreaching this par five. For those unable to carrythe bunker, they must play right on the tee shotand lay up for a short third shot. The raisedgreen is very well protected with bunkers leftand right and back pin positions can provide avery difficult two putt.

Page 47: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 48: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 49: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

16Par 4407

This signature hole requires thinking on the tee. With a tidal creek running the entire left side ofthe driving area, players will hit their tee shots outto the right, but the farther right you play, thelonger the second shot to the well protected green.A bunker protects the green on the front, rightside while a false front runs the entire left side.

Page 50: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 51: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

17Par 3192

Once again, the wind plays a large part in thishole requiring correct club choice. Two largebunkers protect this large green that providesmultiple pin locations.

Page 52: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide
Page 53: 2011 McGladrey Classic Spectator Guide

18Par 4470

A great finishing hole that requires both lengthand accuracy off the tee. At 470 yards, playershave to negotiate fairway bunkers both right andleft to have a second shot in to the green protectedby bunkers both left and front right. A great finshing hole that can provide great shots for adramatic finish.
