THE 2010 SEASONIn 2010, Merchantsauto.com Stadium played host to over 410,000 fans for all events including 391,472 that tripped the turnstiles for the Fisher Cats regular season and playoff games. The 2010 season capped a record setting year both on and off the diamond as three players established multiple single-season franchise records; the stadium welcomed 14 standing-room-only crowds; nostalgia reigned at a live ‘1964…The Tribute’ concert and the month of August witnessed the highest monthly attendance in the team’s history with 110,825 fans enjoying Fisher Cats games. The club also saw its second largest regular season crowd ever when the Fisher Cats took on their cross-border rivals, the Portland Sea Dogs, on August 28, 2010 before 8,746 fans. With an unconditional commitment to providing our guests with a unique brand of affordable family entertainment, the Fisher Cats have remained New Hampshire’s premier outdoor entertainment destination and New Hampshire’s Best Entertainment Value.

Recognition was bountiful as the Fisher Cats were honored with Minor League Baseball’s prestigious 2010 Larry MacPhail Award, being recognized as the nation’s best in promotional effort and community involvement. The coveted MacPhail Award came on the heels of Baseball America’s 2009 Bob Freitas Award, recognizing the club as the most outstanding franchise at the Double-A level for overall business operation and long-term success. For a third straight year the Fisher Cats were recognized as the ‘Best Sporting Venue to Take Clients To’ in the New Hampshire Business Review’s Best of Business Awards, and the Fisher Cats Turf Crew received distinguished honors for the second straight year in being awarded the Diamond Pro Turf Manager of the Year. The team received the Eastern League’s nomination for the Larry MacPhail Trophy, which is awarded by Minor League Baseball for outstanding promotional effort, community involvement and overall operation, in 2008 and 2009. The annual Granite State Baseball Dinner, which the club hosts, has generated over $500,000 in charitable donations for the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD), the Ted Williams Museum and the Fisher Cats Foundation since 2007.

Since 2006 the Fisher Cats and the Fisher Cats Foundation have helped to generate over $1.6 million for over 2,000 regional non-profit organizations by making donations, in-kind donations and by hosting over 482 fundraisers at the ballpark. Throughout 2009 and 2010 the Fisher Cats “Reading Challenge” program has shown over 34,000 New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts students the importance of reading and has rewarded their outside-the-classroom reading efforts with tickets to a game.

The Fisher Cats Entertainment Experience combines fun theme days and in-game promotions with some of the highest quality professional baseball in the country. With 29 Atlas Fireworks nights and popular premium giveaway nights, every game is its own all-encompassing event inviting fans and families to experience more than just a baseball game. Every game provides a fun, affordable, family entertainment experience in a first-class stadium along the banks of the Merrimack River in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The Fisher Cats Videoboard in centerfield features a video screen with the latest state-of-the-art technology, bringing our fans the sharpest picture imaginable. It features a 6’ x 24’ back-lit top panel, clock, digital display of pitch velocity, four Tri-Vision rotating panels (with room for three advertisers per panel) and a 6’ x 24’ back-lit bottom panel.

Your company will receive high exposure as the Tri-Visions draw attention by the movement of the rotational sign every 90 seconds. All signs on the Videoboard are highly visible by day and night. Additionally, they are viewable from Route 293, which passes directly adjacent to the stadium. On average, 60,000 vehicles travel Route 293 on a daily basis.* (*Information provided by the NH Department of Transportation.)

The board also features Player Headshots from both the Fisher Cats and the visiting clubs. The Player Headshots allow your company’s name to stay on the Videoboard during each half-inning.

BASELINE BILLBOARDS

The 8’x30’ Concourse Tri-Vision Sign is prominently displayed on the side of the Samuel Adams Bar & Grill which is located atop the main concourse in left field and at the main entrance of the stadium. The over 5,500 fans that enter the stadium each game pass by this dominant piece of signage as well as those that enter the Samuel Adams Bar & Grill. The sign is also visible from the highway, where over 60,000 vehicles pass by daily. 8’ x 30’ CONCOuRSE TRI-VISION SIGN

OuTFIELD PAD WRAPYour company should be featured on an 8’x16’ Static Outfield Pad Wrap, displayed on the outfield wall in center field. Each fan sitting in the lower seating bowl and luxury suite level will be exposed to this sign and your company’s message and logo. This dominant piece of signage gives you maximum exposure within the ballpark, delivering a strong message throughout the course of the game. The sign will also be picked up in local and regional print and television media outlets covering the Fisher Cats, further delivering your message.

Fans’ eyes are drawn to the action on the field and the entertainment experience between innings, where they will find the Baseline Billboards. These 3’ x 16’ Baseline Billboards extend down the first and third base line of the stadium just past the dugouts. These unique billboards provide a visible presence throughout the entire entertainment experience at the ballpark. In addition to the presence they provide at the stadium, they are often captured in action shots featured in media outlets throughout the region. Your company will be featured on both the first and third baselines, allowing you the opportunity to deliver two separate messages if desired.

These brand new pieces of signage sit adjacent to the Fisher Cats state-of-the-art 16’ x 24’ Daktronics videoboard and span across the outfield fence to the right field foul pole. Each of the 18 signs are eye-catching and unique, and are fully customizable to ensure that your desired message of choice is delivered to fans at all 71 home games and extra events held at the stadium. In addition to the in-stadium presence these signs provide, they will also often be caught in photographs used by local television, print and other various media outlets covering the game.

New in 2011, the premier publication of Fisher Cats Baseball consists of a new design and will now be free to all fans, ensuring your message is delivered to over 5,500 fans at each Fisher Cats home game. The Fisher Cats Game Day Program will feature a new issue each month, rotating promotional and player contest to keep the most up-to-date information on the franchise and team.

The 2011 Fisher Cats Game Day Program will feature articles and pictures from the record-setting 2010 season, including articles on Toronto Blue Jays’ prospects. There will also be articles on the Blue Jays, Eastern League prospects coming to Merchantsauto.com Stadium and the promotional schedule for the 2011 season. Additionally, the Game Day Program will contain several articles highlighting the Fisher Cats’ commitment to the community and the Fisher Cats Foundation.

Filled with color pictures and printed on a high-quality coated stock, the 2011 Game Day Program will be made available to fans at all events held at the stadium.

Throughout the 2011 season Fisher Cats staff members will pass out the Fisher Cats Coupon Booklet to fans in attendance at all Fisher Cats events.
