coaching staffTiffany Clay - Assistant CoachTiffany Clay, a former All-America swimmer at Tennessee, returns for her third season on the deck for the Sea-hawks after joining the program in 2010.

Clay came to the Seahawk program following a two-year stint with the Connecticut program.

Clay was a seven-time All-America honoree during her collegiate career at Tennessee. She qualified for the NCAA Championships as a freshman and earned All-America status as a sophomore, swimming on the Lady Vols 400 Medley Relay. Clay competed on the 200 and 400 Medley relays at the NCAA championships all four years. In the 200 Breaststroke, she placed 12th at championships as a junior and ninth as a senior. She concluded her career at Tennessee as the school’s record holder in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke, a member of the 200 Medley and 400 Medley relay records, as well as the second fastest Lady Vol in the 200 IM.

Clay also qualified for the 2008 United State Olympic trials in the 100 and 200-yard Breaststroke.

She graduated from UT in 2007 with a degree in psychology and garnered Academic All-American and All-SEC honors during her four years there.

Dan Forester - Assistant CoachDan Forester returns for his second season in his second stint with the program after rejoining the coaching staff for the 2011-12 season. Forrester previously served on the staff from 2000-2005.

Forester helped the Seahawks capture six Colonial Athletic Association championships on the men’s side and a pair of runner-up finishes for the women. During Forrester’s time on the staff, UNCW featured an NCAA finalist in Dan Gallagher, eight individual CAA champions, eight relay champions and 51 top-8 conference finalists.

Prior to his time with the Seahawks, Forrester worked locally with the Waves of Wilmington Swim Club and helped produce 10 YMCA All-Americans.

From 1986-89, he served as coach at Norwin High School in Irwin, Pa., as well as the Norwin Aquatic Club.

Beau Bunn - Diving CoachFormer UNCW diving standout Beau Bunn named named Diving Coach for the Seahawk Swimming & Diving program on July 1, 2012, following a stint at Duke with the Blue Devil divers.

Bunn returns to the Port City where he graduated from UNCW in 1999. He compiled a decorated career with the Seahawks that saw him arrive as a walk-on and earn Colonial Athletic Association Diver-of-the-Year honors twice. Bunn was the Seahawks’ top diver all four seasons he competed.

“I’m excited to have this opportunity to return to UNCW as a part of the coaching staff,” said Bunn. “To know that I’ll be building on the strong foundation and traditions that have led to the many successes of the program is a great honor.”

At Duke, Bunn helped Duke head diving coach Drew Johanson, the head coach of the USA Olympic Diving team, in the development of national champions Abby Johnston and Nick McCrory. Both divers represented Team USA at the 2012 London Olympics.

Bunn earned CAA Rookie-of-the-Year honors after finishing second in both the 1 and 3-meter dives. As a sophomore he earned his first CAA Diver-of-the-Year honor, taking second in the 1-meter and winning the 3-meter board. As a junior he swept both events en route to Diver-of-the-Year honors for the second consecutive year.

Prior to Duke, Bunn coached in numerous summer leagues and was the head diving coach for Wake County schools in 2007.
