We are sharing bestpractices among these organizations and helpingfund the expansion of the most effective programs. The goal is to develop viable long-term basketballprograms for grade school aged children in theseneighbourhoods. These programs will help thechildren develop basketball skills and create astronger basketball community throughout Toronto;butmore importantly theywill provide the childrenwitha valuable recreation and learning program that islinked tomentorship, tutoring and community support.
