Host City of the 2014 TCS East Coast Summer Nationals

Triple Crown Sports and the city of Myrtle Beach would like to thank the players, coaches, fans and team moms for coming to the TCS Rising Stars Summer Nationals. This is our third year hosting the TCS East Coast Summer Nationals!

Our Fastpitch program is in its 5th year, starting in 2009 with 32 top caliber teams and has grown to 140 plus teams from 20 states.

The 2014 TCS East Coast Summer Nationals has some very special events:

• Opening Ceremonies:

July 30th, 4:00pm at Oceanfront Parcel (formerly the Pavilion Site) The Oceanfront Parcel is located on Ocean Blvd. between 8th Ave. North and 9th Ave. North.

The long-term objective for the TCS East Coast Summer Nationals is to continue to grow this spectacular event. Triple Crown, with the help of its unique franchising system, has grown its Triple Crown Girl’s World Series to over 275 teams from 20 States. Each Triple Crown event is special throughout the year and we are always striving to advance the game.

Triple Crown Sports, Inc. along with the city of Myrtle Beach wishes all teams the best and encourages everyone to exhibit great sportsmanship on and off the field. The city of Myrtle Beach has been preparing for your arrival and would like to remind all teams to treat the streets, facilities and fields, dugouts, hotels, restaurants and citizens with the utmost respect. Please keep things clean and leave no trace.

Hwy 501 to 17 Bypass South, go past the airport to the back gate of the old Air Force Base. There’s a stoplight there, turn left at the light. (Farrow Park-way)Follow Farrow Parkway to Meyers Ave., turn right, then head down to the complex on the left, you can’t miss it. By turning right on Meyers you access diamonds 1-9 To access diamonds 10 & 11 go past Meyers and take the next right on Crabtree, fields are on the left. From your hotel, head south on Kings Hwy (Hwy 17 Business). You will pass Myrtle Beach International Airport on the right. At the next major intersection (Farrow Parkway) (can’t miss it), take a right (west) into the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base now Market Commons. Stay on this road through the business district you can see the facility to you left beyond the lake. Take a left on Crabtree to access fiamonds 10 & 11 or go to the next left, Meyers Ave. to access diamonds 1-9.

ASA Rules apply with the following modifications: 1. Teams may use an Extra Hitter (EH) anywhere in their lineup along with the DP/FLEX 2. 10 & under teams will follow ASA rules, however in some tournaments specialty rules will be used. Check each tournament website and bracket for any modifications.

Run Rules: 10 after 3 innings, 8 after 4 innings, and 6 after 5 innings.

Tie Breaker: In Pool Play, if the game is tied after time has expired or 7 innings is complete, the game counts as a tie. In bracket or championship play, games cannot end in a tie, starting in the top of the 8th inning the international tie breaker will begin.

Home Team: Flip for home team and “IF” game. Championship game; home team will be the team with the best record. Dugout: Team listed first in pool play or on top of the bracket, will occupy the 3rd base dugout unless playing in a back to back situation.

Tournament Director shall have final decision on all tournament questions. TCS Staff always supports their umpire team.

This is a No protest tournament except players age.
