2014-2014 Plan Information

• A draft of 2014 – 2015 plan is due November 1, 2013.• The draft must be submitted before E-Rate 470’s are

posted• An approved technology plan is required for E-rate

Priority 2, other federal technology funding and various private funding sources

• Plans are recommended for all LEAs and charters. • An approved plan is not a prerequisite for receiving

state technology funding or E-rate Priority 1 funds. • Add Home Base in narrative and activities

2014-2014 Plan Information

• The Technology Plan must include updated policies and

targets that support the academic success of all students.

It is not just a plan for purchasing technology.

• E-rate required that technology plans and policies is

posted on primary website

• Local board approval is required before April 2014.

• Provide a local board approved digital copy of your plan

with signatures to your consultant by April 6, 2014

• The plan is effective from July 1, 2014 through

June 30, 2016
