HIGH SCHOOL CAREER CRUISING

Learning Styles:  to understand how one learns it helps them understand the way they learn new information and skills. It enables teachers to be more effective, by discovering whether students learn best with a visual, auditory or tactile approach.

Skills:  this helps match the career interests with the skills students have and/or need to see if they actually  want to do that career or gain that skill

My Skills assessment connects students with careers that fit their strongest skills and abilities, while suggesting weaknesses that need more attention.

HIGH SCHOOL CC ASSESSMENTS

Education:  match the students to schools or military options  - each career or cluster has a listing for high school, 2 year or 4 year schooling requirements for students to review what is involved in learning

Career Search section:  this assessment asks students to pick their favorite subject (also the option to enter a career, pick a career cluster or industry).  A separate list of careers comes up with careers that have a large enhancement in that subject.  Students can click on a box and see if or why that career does or doesn’t match up to them based on the answers from their matchmaker and skills.

THIS WE BELIEVE: Every student has a right to learn

and experience appropriately challenging and relevant learning opportunities. The ways schools organize teachers and schedule students have a significant impact on the learning environment.  As such, the Master Schedule is designed for students and for students' needs.
