theme 1Victoriana & Gothic Romance

Chic Modern GothThink drama! From the tones of barely

black or white gowns with chiffons or

delicately embroidered lace!

Think floor sweeping skirts or dresses,

Victorian influenced blouses.

It’s all about the romantic wild beauty,

high-necked long sleeve blouse in a

tissue-fine fabric.

Gothic Romance Moody lace and high

ruffle necklines cut beautiful, costume-

worthy silhouettes at Alexander

McQueen, Alberta Ferretti and Rodarte.

Haute Bohemia -Boho’s Back (Again!)

Yes, that Seventies show swings on for a second season.

The vibe has gone more folksy as well as 70s soft rock

this time. Lovely long dresses, sumptuous fabrics, peace,

love and velvets.

A bit of folk and a lot of bohemian. Allow for chic 70s

Marrakech, the wearable poncho. Hemlines are long,

necklines are high but not always buttoned. Fabrics are

soft and patchwork is cool. Even fringing rocks!

Burberry Prorsum, Valentino and Lanvin piling on the

prints. Houses like Chloe were in their element once

more, building on the hit dresses from their spring

collections with new layers of suede and patchwork knits.

Key pieces = the poncho, Velvet, flares.

Queens & PrincessesWhen thinking princess think about the A-

Line mini, baby doll dresses, neat little skirt

suit, hair slides and opera gloves as well as a

diamante brooches, Mrs Prada headlined this

look.

These looks certainly heighten femininity and

charm as Queens are all about the Waist!

The hourglass figure reclaims the limelight

this season. The waistband is having its own

moment this season. Cue The Belt - bold bars,

glossy strips of leather, striking black sashes,

a dramatic buckle or even a waist bow while

still elegantly accessorised.

Designers such as Chanel, Mui Mui, D&G,

Prada and Giles are all celebrating this trend
