OCCUPATIONAL IDENTITIES

THAT MAKE UP ME

Hunter

I have always been a hunter and it runs in my family. It is a part of who I am and I have always enjoyed food gathering of this type.

FISHER

I have fished ever since I was old enough to know how. This also runs in my family and it is especially shown during Christmas holidays.

DIVER

Diving is a thrilling and therapeutically important occupation of mine, and it has many purposes, such as food gathering, spending time with family and surrounding myself in a relaxing and fascinating environment.

FAMILY MEMBER

Spending time with family is very important and it often takes place in a relaxing, carefree environment. They are important for support and provide a sense of belonging.

FRIEND

Friends are important for many of the same reasons as family and they are fun and interesting to spend time with.

STUDENT

Being a student is important for reaching goals and aspirations in life and is a unique experience as a whole (and occupies a lot of ones time!).

GARDENER

This is essential for me for relaxation and I enjoy the food gathering process and being able to say that what I have for dinner has come from the garden.

GAMER

This is also important for relaxation and often to relieve stress by distracting me from my current life situation. It can also be a social and competitive event, which I love.

WIFE

This is a future identity because I am currently engaged and have plans to take on this role.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

This is also a future identity that I am currently working towards by studying occupational therapy. The occupation will bring me satisfaction in life and will help me to work on goals and other needs that require money.
