The CRG Billet Internal Adapter for Bar End Mirrors.

When customizing your Triumph, you may want to do something about

those ghastly mirrors up front. With the CRG Billet Internal Adapter for bar

end mirrors, you are now able to mount up aftermarket bar end mirrors

of your choice. Small, subtle changes up front have a drastic impact on

rider safety and comfort. A set of bar end mirrors offer a clean look as

well as superior peripheral visibility. This assembly will work on bars

with internal diameters as small as 12mm (.475”) and as large as 19mm

(.750”), allowing you to mount up mirrors on clip-on’s or standard bars.

engineers on more than one occasion. The British Customs Quick Release Seat

Screws are designed to make getting the seat on and off a whole lot easier.

Designed to work with the Modern Classic line, our Seat Screws replace the

stock mounting hardware entirely with an extended, hand-turnable mount that

Moving your Bonneville’s front blinkers from the stock mounting area

means you’re left with some gaping holes in your headlight ears making

things look decidedly unfinished up front. Replacing the OEM headlight

ears with the British Customs option is one solution to this problem, but

we’ve developed a simpler, low-cost alternative.

The British Customs Turn Signal Block-Off Plates are custom cut from

aluminum to fit the turn signal mounting point perfectly and plug those

ears. They are anodized black to match the stock color scheme and blend

seamlessly with the lines of your Modern Classic. They attach in seconds

using road-proven, 3M weather-resistant adhesive. Leave them alone and

they stay put, but if you want to make some more changes, or go back to

a stock configuration, they can be removed easily without damage.

The OEM equipped 7-inch headlight on Triumph’s Modern Classics does a great job of

shedding light on the road ahead, but lacks the personality of a custom, smaller unit. The

British Customs Builder Series line of products includes a 5 3/4” headlight mount that allows

for the removal of the factory 7” headlight and headlight ears found on the Modern Classics.

Whether you’re looking to re-create a bobber style or a sleek and sultry custom look of an

altogether different type, our bracket is designed to seamlessly mount a 5 3/4” headlight to

The British Customs Headlight Ears streamline front end operations by moving the headlight 10mm closer to the bike, while the included fork tube clamps free up positioning possibilities in the vertical plane. Upsizing your front wheel to a full 21” unit is the upgrade that delivers a completely custom look British Customs has developed a 21” Front Wheel Conversion Kit that allows for a 21” front rim to be laced to a factory Bonneville or Thruxton hub.

While making your bike stand out and become the envy of every rider in your pack, the larger wheel also improves ride quality by sucking up and rolling over any bumps along the road. The BC Conversion Kit includes a 21” chrome wheel that we have powdercoated or chrome dipped, depending on your tastes, to provide protection against rough roads and oxidation and deliver serious style to your ride (other powder coating colors are available.). You also get to choose whether your spokes and nipples get the polished or raw finish treatment to coordinate your wheel to achieve the ultimate vision for your motorcycle.

COUNTERSHAFT SPROCKET

Highway cruising on your Modern Classic an get a buzzy at speed. Its ok to admit that you’ve tried to click up another gear when hitting the highway – we’ve done it too. To make interstate travel a smoother affair, British Customs has engineered a lightweight countershaft sprocket that allows riders to easily adjust their gearing ratio (see video instructions).

Each sprocket is manufactured from 8620 case-hardened steel and CAT plated with lightening holes to provide reduced weight compared to the stock sprocket. The BC sprockets are visually appealing and made to last, meaning they look fantastic when exposed with the British Customs Front Sprocket Cover delivering a true hot rod look.

GEARING BASICS: Going up one tooth from your bike’s stock configuration is a great alternative for freeway riding and feels like you’ve added a 6th gear to your Triumph Modern Classic. Changing the number of teeth on your countershaft sprocket has the same effect as changing your rear sprocket by two teeth. Increasing the number of teeth of the countershaft sprocket will give you the feeling of adding another gear on the freeway.

If you are looking for more get up and go out of hole, drop down a tooth. The lower the tooth, the faster out of the hole, more push off the line, and less top end (top speed).

NOTE: Please verify the number of teeth on your bike by removing the sprocket cover and counting the number of teeth. There are no fluids or gaskets required to remove the sprocket cover.

SCRAMBLER AIR BOX REMOVAL KIT

Engines work on a simple principle when it comes to air. The more you can give it, the

bigger the grin on your face. British Customs has developed the Triumph Scrambler

900 Airbox Removal Kit to allow riders to remove the factory airbox and increase

induction, while maintaining all necessary mounting points for relays, fuse box and the

starter solenoid.

By removing the factory air box and installing two high-flow conical style filters directly

to the throttle bodies (EFI models) or carburetors (carb models) you instantly increase air

flow. This delivers increased horsepower and improved throttle response that you will feel

with every blip of the throttle. British Customs has partners with K&N Filters to provide the

best air filters on the market to our customers; the only air filters that provide a lifetime

warranty and a million-mile guarantee.

For EFI Models, the battery box has been designed to fit the battery ECU, ECU spacer,

starter solenoid, relays and right side cover mounting bracket, (but still allows mounting

of the Scrambler’s right side cover). The kit allows for the stock side covers to be fitted,

allowing the rider to maintain a factory appearance.

Carb models do not require ECUs, creating extra storage space for registration storage, or

The better your Triumph Modern Classic breathes, the better it performs. Its just

that simple. With the British Customs Air Box Elimination Kit you can remove the

restrictions inherent with the OEM air box and snorkel configuration and open up the

fuel system with some free-breathing K&N cone filters. Dollar for dollar, this is the

best performance upgrade you can get for your Bonneville or Thruxton.

Simply scrapping your stock air box doesn’t work – it also serves as the mounting

point for some pretty important equipment like your relays, fuses, solenoid and

rear master cylinder. British Customs reengineered an entirely new air intake

system, complete with a new battery box design that provides all those essential

mounting points.

The battery box is made of lightweight aluminum with wrinkle powder coat finish

for durability. All brackets, hardware and fastening points for reinstallation of stock

components are included, right where you need them. This upgrade works with

stock side covers.

The British Customs High Header is a bolt-on retro-racer header pipe designed

for bike builders looking to put a more personal stamp on their Modern Classic.

Available in black ceramic or brushed stainless steel, the High Headers wrap

closely around each cylinder head and deliver an aggressive take-no-prisoners

aesthetic. Mounting is a bolt-on affair that attaches directly to the engine,

making these headers completely compatible with either a factory frame or

completely custom unit. Heat shields are provided but the finishing touches

are left up to you. Any 2” slip-on silencer you want can be easily attached with

HIGH HEADER EXHAUST KIT

The British Customs High Header Exhaust is the first full exhaust system developed

with everything you need to create that Scrambler style retro look with a rich sound

and increased performance. The stainless steel headers wrap closely around both

sides of the cylinder head, and are produced from stainless steel with a brushed

finish that, over time will develop a lustrous patina, specifically at the U-bend,

giving the exhaust an authentic vintage look.

The headers are mounted using the integrated engine bracketing system, making it

a complete bolt on exhaust system that can be used with the factory frame or a on

a complete custom frame. Heat shields are provided, to prevent direct contact with

the header and the Builder Series 2” Reverse Cone Silencers are fastened directly

to the headers to provide a deep throaty exhaust note. The high header system is

available with a brushed finish or ceramic black. For those looking for a unique

look, you can order the High Header Exhaust Kit with ceramic black headers with

polished silencers.

need look no further. British Customs has developed a 3” reverse cone slip-on exhaust that

Weighing a mere 1.5 lbs each, this exhaust can be easily slipped on to the end of headers

without the need of additional hanging brackets. Sound and back pressure is created through

a 1.5” baffle that produces a deep rich exhaust note that you wouldn’t expect from a pipe this

small. The Mini Reverse Cone Exhaust is available in three finish options: polished, brushed,

PERFORMANCE CYLINDER HEAD UPDATE

The Hinkley Twin powering your Modern Classic is a thing of beauty. Its also an incredible building block for riders

hell-bent on their pursuit of more power. The British Customs Performance Cylinder Head Update Service has been

designed with this specific type of street rider in mind.

Street riders performance needs differ from racers – a usable increase in performance across the entire power band

trumps unreachable top end, wide open gains.

TO ACCOMPLISH THAT TASK BRITISH CUSTOMS HAS DEVELOPED THE FOLLOWING POLISH AND PORT PROCESS:

1. CLEANING AND INSPECTION – The cylinder head is inspected for wear and tear.

2. PORTING –The shape of the port is important to the performance of the head. The goal is to increase flow by

10 percent while maintaining a good ratio of intake to exhaust flow. We work the shape of the ports per the

application and engine size.

3. VALVE JOB – To increase flow, a 3-angle-valve job is performed on the valve seats and then hand blended to

maximize flow.

4. BLENDING PORTS – Removes any edges, or irregularities in the ports to maximize flow.

5. POLISH THE CHAMBERS – Polishing the chambers is done to increase low lift flow with a target number of

0 to 300,000.

6. SURFACE MEASURE AND SET VALVE HEIGHT

7. ASSEMBLY AND MEASURING – The valve stem heights are measured to ensure that the valve lash adjustment is in

a comparable range from before the job was started. The valve spring heights are checked to ensure that there is

sufficient spring tension and spring rate for the application.

LOW PROFILE AIR INJECTION REMOVAL

Designed as an emissions control modification, the Triumph air injection system pumps

air into the engine to force more fuel to burn inside the cylinder. While that may sound

commendable, it comes at a cost. The downside of the system is that it creates a lean

fueling condition that spikes exhaust temperature – that encourages your header pipes to

turn blue and makes low-speed throttle adjustments finicky at best.

This upgrade has all the components needed to replace the air injection system for a

finished look and a cooler running engine. The British Customs Air Injection block-off bolts

are machined from aluminum in a low profile design and coated black to match the head

perfectly or left raw: either way they virtually disappear.

Gaskets, rubber nipples and other fittings are included to finish both the engine and factory

air box.

STAGE 1 STREET CAM

Don’t let the talk of engine internals scare you away from your relentless pursuit of horsepower. Increasing low-end and mid-range torque and power is easier than you might expect. The British Customs’ Stage I Street Cam is a complete drop-in, custom cam that boosts performance without the need of major engine work.

The cam simply drops in – requiring only that you remove the top cover to access the stock cam.

The factory cam is adequate for most riders and situations, but the British Customs Street Cam is a carefully engineered, precision upgrade that takes the Triumph vertical twin engine to its full potential.

The cam is precision ground to boost both low-end and mid-range torque, but keeps the bike streetable and reliable. Lobe center values are modified to increase both lift and duration cycles that up the ante delivering more air and fuel for bigger torque and horsepower. Valve overlap is increased but not enough to adversely affect idling.

TRACKER HANDLEBAR

Biltwell handlebars are precision crafted with 100% seamless 4130

chromoly to communicate the cornering confidence you need to stay

ahead of the pack. With a burly 0.120” wall-thickness used throughout

their tubing and a nice wide stance, these Tracker Bars were built for

riding dirty.

All handlebars are now available smooth for custom applications, or with

dimples to accommodate original equipment throttle, brake and clutch

assemblies. This bar is knurled in the centre mounting area to keep things

locked and loaded once installed.

Re-routing control cables may be necessary for installation.

Upsizing your front wheel to a full 21” unit delivers a completely custom, take no prisoners look. To make that move easy, British Customs has developed a 21” Front Wheel Conversion Kit that allows for a 21” front rim to be laced to a factory Triumph hub. While making your bike the envy of every rider in your pack, the larger wheel also improves ride quality by sucking up and rolling over any bumps along the road. Highway cruising on your Triumph Cruiser can get a buzzy at speed. Its ok to admit that you’ve tried to click up another gear when hitting the highway we’ve done it too. To make interstate travel a smoother affair, or add more grunt off the line, British Customs has engineered a lightweight countershaft sprocket that allows riders to easily adjust their gearing ratio (see video instructions).

Each sprocket is manufactured from 8620 case-hardened steel and CAT plated with lightening holes to provide reduced weight compared to the stock sprocket. The BC sprockets are visually appealing and made to last, meaning they look fantastic when exposed with the British Customs Front Sprocket Cover delivering a true hot rod look.

GEARING BASICS: Going up one tooth from your bike’s stock configuration is a great alternative for freeway riding and feels like you’ve added a 6th gear to your Triumph Modern Classic. Changing the number of teeth on your countershaft sprocket has the same effect as changing your rear sprocket by two teeth. Increasing the number of teeth of the countershaft sprocket will give you the feeling of adding another gear on the freeway. If you are looking for more get up and go out of hole, drop down a tooth. The lower the tooth, the faster out of the hole, more push off the line, and less top end (top speed).

NOTE: Please verify the number of teeth on your bike by removing the sprocket cover and counting the number of teeth. There are no fluids or gaskets required to remove the sprocket cover.

PERFORMNCE CYLINDER HEAD UPDATE

The Hinkley Twin powering your Modern Classic is a thing of beauty. Its also an incredible building block for riders hell-bent on their pursuit of more power. The British Customs Performance Cylinder Head Update Service has been designed with this specific type of street rider in mind.

Street riders performance needs differ from racers a usable increase in performance across the entire power band trumps unreachable top end, wide open gains.

TO ACCOMPLISH THAT TASK BRITISH CUSTOMS HAS DEVELOPED THE FOLLOWING POLISH AND PORT PROCESS:

CLEANING AND INSPECTION. The cylinder head is inspected for wear and tear.

PORTING. The shape of the port is important to the performance of the head. The goal is to increase flow by 10 percent while maintaining a good ratio of intake to exhaust flow. We work the shape of the ports per the application and engine size.

VALVE JOB TO INCREASE FLOW. A 3-angle-valve job is performed on the valve seats and then hand blended to maximize flow.

BLENDING PORTS. Removes any edges, or irregularities in the ports to maximize flow.

POLISH THE CHAMBERS. Polishing the chambers is done to increase low lift flow with a target number of 0 to 300,000.

SURFACE MEASURE AND SET VALVE HEIGHT.

ASSEMBLY AND MEASURING. The valve stem heights are measured to ensure that the valve lash adjustment is in a comparable range from before the job was started. The valve spring heights are checked to ensure that there is sufficient spring tension and spring rate for the application.

LOW PROFILE AIR INJECTION REMOVAL

Designed as an emissions control modification, the Triumph air injection system pumps

air into the engine to force more fuel to burn inside the cylinder. While that may sound

commendable, it comes at a cost. The downside of the system is that it creates a lean

fueling condition that spikes exhaust temperature that encourages your header pipes to turn

blue and makes low-speed throttle adjustments finicky at best.

This upgrade has all the components needed to replace the air injection system for a

finished look and a cooler running engine. The British Customs Air Injection block-off bolts

are machined from aluminum in a low profile design and coated black to match the head

perfectly or left raw: either way they virtually disappear.

Gaskets, rubber nipples and other fittings are included to finish both the engine and

factory airbox.

STAGE 1 STREET CAM SERVICE

Don’t let the talk of engine internals scare you away from your relentless pursuit of horsepower. Increasing low-end and mid-range torque and power is easier than you might expect. The British Customs’ Stage I Street Cam is a complete dropin, custom cam that boosts performance without the need of major engine work. The cam simply drops in – requiring only that you remove the top cover to access the stock cam.

The factory cam is adequate for most riders and situations, but the British Customs Street Cam is a carefully engineered, precision upgrade that takes the Triumph vertical twin engine to its full potential.

The cam is precision ground to boost both low-end and mid-range torque, but keeps the bike streetable and reliable. Lobe center values are modified to increase both lift and duration cycles that up the ante delivering more air and fuel for bigger torque and horsepower. Valve overlap is increased but not enough to adversely affect idling.

OIL PRESSURE GAUGE

It comes down to a simple question: do you really trust an “idiot light” to protect your engine from low oil pressure?

The problem with dashboard lights is that they rarely give you much warning. By the time you notice the light, it could very well be too late – your engine could have already been damaged from lack of lubrication. BAR END MIRROR ADAPTER

Have you been looking at a clamp on style bar end mirror but can’t figure out how to fit the

mirror to your Triumph Bonneville, Thruxton, Scrambler, America or Speedmaster? British

Customs has developed a clamp on mirror adapter that will work with a Triumph clamp on

mirror or any clamp-on mirror that fits onto a 21.85 mm surface. The adapter is machined

from 6061 aluminum and black anodized to prevent oxidation, and is a direct replacement of

the factory bar end, fastened on using a supplied M5 bolt.

Designed to be used in conjunction with a British Customs Fender Eliminator Kit,

these turn signal relocation brackets allow customers to mount aftermarket turn

signals directly to the fender eliminator plate.

The brackets are made from stainless steel, then powder coated with a weather

resistant semi-black that blends with the bike’s frame. Each bracket is bent to a

90 degree angle for maximum signal visibility.

SIDE MOUNT LICENSE PLATE FOR SPEED TRIPLE 1050

Here’s a Speed Triple 1050 upgrade that cleans up the rear and improves the lines of the bike. The problem is the stock mudguard license plate mount that sticks out a bit and clutters up the open space between the tire and fender.

It’s especially obvious once you upgrade to a high-mount or GP style exhaust. The British Customs Triumph Speed Triple 1050 Side Mount License Plate eliminates the stock license plate bracket and relocates the license plate to the OEM chain stay mounts. It doubles as a license mount and new chain stay.

Laser cut from mild steel and finished in a durable semi-gloss powdercoat, the bracket replaces the stock chain stay and installs in minutes with simple tools. License plate lights can be added and wiring can be hidden in the stock brake line guide.

Installation note: This upgrade fits Triumph Speed Triple 1050 motorcycles through the 2007 model year. For 2008 bikes and later, the R&G or Ermax fender eliminator is required.

Here’s a pair of custom risers for make a statement for your Speed Triple 1050.

Made from 6061 aluminum in an elegantly machined faceted design, it’s a fast way

to make a big improvement to the Triple’s front end.

Anodized black or silver, they bolt on in minutes and include stainless steel handle-

bar mounting bolts. They are taller than stock and can be made higher with British

Customs riser spacers. Designed for 7/8” handlebars.

NOTE: Risers can only be used with 7/8” diameter handlebar.

Upgrading the Speed Triple 1050 exhaust is an easy way to improve sound, performance and style.

British Customs’ GP Reverse Cone Exhaust is a 3-1 low mount slip-on GP-style upgrade and replaces the large factory canisters and mid pipe It’s a great-looking set of pipes that perform flawlessly. Similar in construction to the Recon exhaust, it offers the same performance and sound boost with a reverse-cone look.

Hand-crafted in 304 stainless for durability and corrosion resistance, the reverse cone design brings Moto GP style to the Speed Triple, with British Customs’ proven Dual-Core technology. Combined louver and perforated baffles will never need repacking and create just the right backpressure for optimized horsepower through the entire RPM range.
