Dear Past and Present Tournament Sponsors, The Palm Beach Sailfish Classic invites you to become a proud sponsor of our tenth annual fishing tournament to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida and Marine Industry Charities and Scholarships. By participating, you will be

helping to make the wishes come true for some very deserving children as well as helping to shape the future of our industry. Our tournament has been extremely successful due to the participation

and generosity of businesses such as yours.

Each year at the tournament Kick-Off Party, we introduce one of our Make-A-Wish families to our participants and sponsors. The children and their families have the opportunity to tell their stories and share their adventures. It truly becomes an experience we all cherish. As we grant children’s wishes, and meet the children and families whose lives have been touched by Make-A-Wish, it has

become a passion of everyone involved and drives our volunteers, the fishing teams, our community and our committee to make each year an incredible event and to help our charities as

much as possible. Every year we get to add more children to OUR Kid’s Wall.

To date, we have granted the wishes of 44 children. These wishes have ranged from meeting

famous actors and sports heroes to trips to amazing places such as Paris, China, Disney World, and even to see the snow for the first time.

Our kids have swam with dolphins and been to the top of Eifel Tower thanks to people and companies just like you!

In addition to the Make-A-Wish aspect of our tournament, The Palm Beach Sailfish Classic also

provides scholarships to students from the Riviera Beach Maritime Academy pursuing careers in the marine field. One of the 2014 recipients is attending The Massachusetts Maritime Academy,

where she is pursuing a degree in Marine Transportation. The second scholarship recipient is pursuing a career in Marine Biology at Florida Atlantic University. In 2015, we are also

supporting the internship program for university undergraduate and graduate students working with the Billfish Foundation for the conservation of our fishery.

What we do would not be possible without the support of our amazing sponsors, many of whom

have supported our event for the entire 9 year history. Many of our volunteers have been with us since day one.
